Hariharan has hit the market. Even if he over sings or makes a mistake it doesn’t seem very obvious because he and his songs have captured the hearts of the people. That’s his unique signature that I personally admire.
Hariharan understands what real music is and he modifies it according to his wish.. which is soo beautiful... He is soo creative. He's a legend for this reason.
I saw many negative comments about Mr. Hariharan's improvisation here. Please don't compare the original version with the stage performance. It has been sung for a live audience and original can be listened anywhere at anytime online. I'm a Sri Lankan and Mr. Hariharan is one of my favorites and he is the king of improvising songs by using Carnatic and Hindhusthani classical music variations in a very smooth way and I can't forget Mr. Shankar Mahadevan and SPB too.
I just love the way song is song. Such vibrance and energy. The credit goes to only Hariharan and Swehta and the and not the least there Orchestra completely outstanding Bravo ❤️
Watching in 2021. What ever the case, I can hear to Hari sir voice repeatedly. That Devine voice of his is irreplaceable. His aura, style, stage presence is a deadly combo. The duo is a great Jodi 🤙💛

This young lady exhibits so much grace on stage for her peers to emulate. Unlike established singers, both have put some life on the stage with good backing from the band.
Hariharan is more than singing. He has tremendous personality, stage presence and he entertains. This is not a gana sabha. It seems to be a private function and they are being fun and informal. Wish people would stop criticizing him. He has a divine voice.
These are great legends - always creative and evolving, not just reproducings exact copies! In a live stage performance audience must be kept entertained. Those with a mindset of the fifties and sixties when singers sat cross-legged on the stage may not fully appreciate their ingenuity.
