That is not a good idea. It is always better to keep the original aspect ratio. :)

@@elitedeadlockedhd2007 Cropping black borders is fine. Stretching the original 4:3 image to 16:9 is bad e.g. circle shape becames an oval. Simply everything would look "fat" after stretching and not as intended.
