Honestly this the best arc of blue lock currently we see the Japanese prodigy itoshi sae play for the first time we also see sae and Rin back story shidou and rin awaking flow shidou bicycle kicks and his insane special awareness as well as Aiku being a chad of a defender nagi goal barou coming in the field and scoring his goal showing why he’s the king and isagi last minute shot which cemented this arc as one of if not the greatest arc of blue lock honest and we can’t forget gagamaru scorpion kick to block shidou goal and sae being a cold legend.
I love this arc but I feel like Isagi got a lot of attention while the rest of the scorers didn't. Like when Isagi scored the one goal in the end he got all the spotlight and became the "ace" of the team while Nagi and Barou got no recognition for the goals they scored.
@@baileyo150is what ego said in the neo league arc, if the goal have significance it will remain the main focus on the game, like nagi’s goal which can’t be repeated again in the neo league, even though nagi can’t repeat it, it remained as the main focus
This arc is what cemented Blue lock as the next big hit, and garnered its future success into the mainstream. I think we all collectively came together and assumed the series wouldn't go on for much longer cause it was just that climactic. But it's still going, and still maintaining the quality, and still trying new things. Even if I disagree with some changes, it somehow never manages to disappoint. If the anime does this arc justice. I can really see it reaching, or surpassing haikyuu- Since this manga/anime indeed had a similar effect as of recently
No way you compared blue lock to a classic spokon like Haikyu... Blue lock is more similiar to a battle shonen, the quality of it is based on how much cool a play will be, nothing more. Characters aren't too deep, ideas aren't too complicated, but with that gorgeous design and all the cool scenes blue lock manages to give you unique feels.
@@C.Feralox its not just about budget, its mostly about time, trying to do animation on par with Blue locks amazing art is no easy feat, especially since they're cramming 24 episodes in a single season
Damn a one hour video about the U20? I'm all here for it. Probably one of the best arc in sports manga in general. So many hype and cool moments for each characters! Love how it ended and that whole sequence of Rin vs Sae with Isagi coming in with the clutch goal with no dialogue had me screaming!
The ending was sad because rin was going to smile because he was going to get praised from his older brother but instead he praised isagi if I was sae I would of kept quiet
Just realized that Sae was doing everything he did to help everyone on that field become stronger players in the 2nd half lol. Shit talking Sendo and the whole u20 team to get them to shoot for #1 instead of settling, playing at a hard but manageable level against BL11, raising the game level whenever they levelled up, providing Shidou with a gateway to flow, going out of his way to duel Rin in the end and testing his flow, as well as making sure that Rin wouldnt go soft after the match is over by getting him pissed at Isagi... Man pupetteering this shitshow so hard in the 2nd half.
Gagamaru is my favorite because of how creative and flexible he is. Blue lock would have closed without him. I hope he can do a court to court goal out of nowhere. Hes the goat!
FACTS FACTS BRO GAGAMARU IS THAT GUY. THE GOAT. THE MPV. HIM. THAT NIGGA. Cant wait till gagamaru becomes a world class goal keeper at the end of the series. Bro has been the goat since DAY 1
One of the best, and most important, moment in the series, and in all spokon history. The lenght is perfect, each character has his moment to shine, and until the end nothing was predictable. Among the things that I enjoyed the most: the goals of Nagi, Barou and Isagi, the role of Niko and Reo, and Haiku's backstory.
It's not important at all in spokon history, even saying "one of the best" seems pretty dumb to me, it's just a "simple" arc like a lot of spokon have that manages to use all blue lock's quality at their best, indeed a good arc but seeing people overrating is just.. Why? I know it's cool, that's why i love blue lock, but i don't need a video of 80 minutes in which a guy describes every scene without adding nothing to them.

1 hr and 22 min, literally perfect length for a blue lock movie but we gotta have a different studio. The one animating blue lock right now is kinda lukewarm
This video is amazing I have nothing to say and when the Phonke music start I already knew that Isagi was going to score the last goal. Best arc of blue lock, I am so excited to watch the anime version.
If the anime goes insane with the animation during this arc compared to the “slide show” animation there is now, 100% the U-20 match will break the internet. Though the anime is nearing the end of the first season and the 2nd selection arc, it will be interesting to see if the anime will adapt the 3rd selection and U-20 match AND the Neo Egoist League in the next season or save that arc for a possible 3rd season. Edit: Yes, I am well aware that the first season was considered “slide show animation” but I am hoping that the U-20 match is a movie, and with a movie comes better animation.
@@war_designer8763 It wasn't, show a fucking scene that shows it being a slide show, even if the animation was terrible (it wasn't) it wouldn't be a slideshow because it's always fluid and its moving, is never a power point of presentation but you clearly don't know what you are talking about. ruclips.net/video/ywUVhEy4tI4/видео.html clearly not a slide show. ruclips.net/video/TgWO5WgfDPA/видео.html clearly not a slide show. Is ok if you don't like the animation but it is literally not a slideshow.
I think i like every side character in blue lock, but this arc solidified Reo as my favourite character. There's something about his chameleon style that just make him amazing. I don't think he will be the world's best striker in the future, but I think he will be more like Sae. An absolute monster who can control everyone on the field, use weapons which his opponents use and be the perfect midfielder. Even after this arc, his growth is something else. Arguably in the top 5 talented players of blue lock currently (definitely in the top 10). Also, he just started soccer 6 months before blue lock? Damn. Also, special mention to Niko. He lost to Isagi in the starting, had a wakeup call and has continued to evolve ever since. But just like Isagi, he lacks the physical skill. But he'll be an absolute beast in the future if he trains right.
Thanks this means the world to me! I worked really hard so the love is appreciated! I would love to do a video on the neo-egoist-league however I think that it will be a while before it’s over

Edit: Yes, I am well aware that the first season was considered “slide show animation” but I am hoping that the U-20 match is a movie, and with a movie comes better animation.
Idk what your talking about man, the only thing about the animation thats like a slideshow is the cgi running, other than that it was great
@@OddlyS. stop glazing the adaptation was terrible
@@OddlyS. yeah no whether you liked it or not doesn't change the fact that its a slide show
@@war_designer8763 It wasn't, show a fucking scene that shows it being a slide show, even if the animation was terrible (it wasn't) it wouldn't be a slideshow because it's always fluid and its moving, is never a power point of presentation but you clearly don't know what you are talking about.
ruclips.net/video/ywUVhEy4tI4/видео.html clearly not a slide show.
ruclips.net/video/TgWO5WgfDPA/видео.html clearly not a slide show.
Is ok if you don't like the animation but it is literally not a slideshow.
@@war_designer8763 every animated show is a slideshow
1:20:22 Anyone else who screamed and clapped when Isagi scored that goal say I
Imagine if gagamaru had spatial awareness
Isagi and Chigiri going wild
Gagamaru: noice
fairy tail music is goated
This is my fav arc yet of blue lock
Sameee, it's so good!
I love your videos, lol. Well, I was going to read it online but I would like no I don’t feel like it but you are making it way easier
Thank you for such amazing content.
Isagi is a real striker always scoring clutch shots
Egos speech of that Blue Lock has won always tears me up.
IM BOUT TO COME
You know Isagis gonna go berserk when the phonk music starts

Damn, Sae is really pushing Rin to his breaking point, just when he was happy too 😭
It was his own fault. Rin should’ve learned he’d have grown beyond wanting/needing his approval
Bro thank you for the vid and talking for 1 hour😂😂
Hahaha appreciate you watching it!
Made me have a headache for the 1-hour contineus scrolling down
U-20 is like the shibyua arc blue lock
So Flow for Football and Zone in Basketball!
This has to be a movie
The way Ego calmly says he would give himself up and be banned from japanese football just so the blue lock players can change the world is just so sad
Took me a second to realize the dokkan ost in the background
Tbh, Isagi is good and has a long way to the top but him getting all the attention after a winning shot didn't settle with me! and Idk why
