I am so glad I found this video to adjust my volume. I was literally pulling my hair out at the very low sound. I was seriously considering a hearing aid. Volume is now perfectly set, well 100% on everything. I can now hear my TV. Thank you so much.

Wow thanks this setting allowed me to change my region from UAE to Australia and get Amazon Alexa Services and Remote Mangement Services and many feature which are otherwise locked in UAE

My Hisense HDTV with Opera app store (now VEWD) has a much less robust set of options. Still quite neat, though.
How did you installed VEWD ? Is your model with VIDAA OS TV by Hisense ?

Mate, just to add not all logos are safe as I has bricked my service menu with the "Liverpool" logo. It seems like some logos come with a settings file (mgk file) that gets missing upon change. Some logos are fine but some aren't so thread with caution.
PS - tv is still usable but service menu isn't. I'm concerned to do a hard reset as it may rely on the file and brick the whole tv, so anyone having experience in resolving this is most welcome. TQVM
Cant you flash the latest firmware via USB?
@@Cornz38I contacted Hisense tech support & they advised me that there is a possibility of bricking my set upon flashing since the logo change was made. Then again, they were more adamant that since I had changed the logo my warranty was void and did not provide a resolution.
IYHO, do you think flashing with the same or newer firmware would work or will there be any risk?
In my not inconsiderable experience of flashing devices i'd say this: "does it work as is"? If yes, then you have a choice, you risk it or you live with it. If, however, it ISN'T working and Hi-Sense are refusing warranty (which is a bit harsh if their firmware is so brickable) then my question is this. What do you have to lose? Me, i'd risk it. I've just had a similar episode getting my printer repaired because i had disconnected the waste ink pipe and connected it to a "printer potty". They refused to touch it for the save of moving one small plastic pipe. @@cOMM4ND3R
ADDENDUM. There is ALWAYS risk flashing firmware, make SURE the firmware is correct, make sure the USB is freshly formatted and has no bad sectors. Good luck and let us know what happens!!!!!@@cOMM4ND3R
You've never explained how to actually get into secret menu man.
Well one way on some is go into sound settings make sure sound balance is on 0 and key in 19691969 and it may access the menu.

How do I leave the Menu setting? Exit does not work for me. I've had to hard shut it but when it comes it it still shows the menu setting
I've just discovered that you can plug a usb mouse and keyboard into the usb slots at the back of the tv which works with your premium tv browser. How cool! 😁

Hey i changed the logo to Toshiba in the service menu now when I try to enter the service menu I see a black color "M" and not red and the screen turns red but service menu options can't be seen.
why would you change the logo to toshiba to begin with ?

thank you for the video and info. I was able to enter the Service menu using 1969 and though I didnt change any important settings I happened to change the logo. When I start my TV i get the new logo but I want to revert back to the original logo but on entering 1969 all I see is a M like its been disabled (greyish M) and then the screen turns RED but I am unable to enter the service menu. It displays a message:
Set MAC OK!
Set HDCP 1.4 key OK!
Set HDCP 2.2 key OK!
MGK file not exist!
I tried a soft reset but it did not help. What should I do. TV works fine otherwise

@@chethangc409 Hi. I had complained to VU and their technician tried to force install the firmware but even that didn't work. VU then replaced the TV because it was just the issue had come within 1 day and I had not wasted time lodging a complaint.
Mind you tech support is not great and Software / firmware upgrades are non existent. They have to rely on the original chinese manufacturer for any software upgrade.

I'm facing the same, so I'm curious if a factory reset would work better than a firmware upgrade (doesn't make sense although it is possible since the settings file has been changed to the selected brand, causing it to block the original firmware brand). pls share your thoughts. thanks
@@cOMM4ND3R factory reset didnt work.. their Service Technician and technical head also could not resolve it.. they finally did a replacement
it was a brand new TV and VU got scared when Toshiba started showing because Toshiba would file a case on them so somehow they sourced a replacement brand new set.. mind you this was during covid and imports were banned from china.
With the "Power mode" setting, what is the difference between "Standby Mode", "Poweron Mode", and "Remember Mode"?
I see that ur aspect ratio setting is blurred out as is mine how du change this setting

Make sure you power off the TV for 1 minute at the plug not the remote then power on and use the same process. This should then work.

Looks like there's no solution to the botched red service menu page. Sadly, like some of you folks, i had changed my Toshiba to Hisense logo (which worked alright) but when I tried changing to "Liverpool", I'm stuck with the missing MGK red screen af the service menu. was wondering if anyone resolved it? I am thinking firmware update or even a factory reset but that missing file concerns me that i may brick the whole TV (not just the service menu which is currently the problem). Any advice is appreciated.
Nope hisense H43M3000 ran through the vid a few times, no special list showed up... no wories

On the back left hand side edge on this one there is a D pad and 2 buttons. If you press left and right on the D pad you adjust the volume.

Hi there; I am using my monitor to create a slideshow for display and I want to create a multimedia playlist and put it on a USB stick .. I want to avoid powering a second device such as an Android, iPhone, Mac, or PC. I need to be able to include the number of seconds each slide shows for (obviously movies will stream for their duration). I would also like to be able to control the fades and transitions (though it's not essential). The media will change regularly (I am using it to promote bands in my store) .. can it be done on a Hisense B7100UK-50 ? Kind regards.
Sorry for the late reply. I myself would use something like PowerPoint or other video software and then export it as a video which could then be plated direct from the USB. Thanks for the comment. Glad is was of use.
Please help! I have a problem. A couple of days ago I bought a TV HISENSE 55 A7GQ. Excellent design and workmanship. General ... sound and picture top. Picture directly over the net on clips in 4K and 8K resolution perfect as well as over HDMI input where is connected to the computer. In both modes it gives me normal picture settings, but through the HDMI input which is conected TV BOX it only gives me picture settings in HDR variant ... where HDR cannot be deactivated (so picture modes are only with HDR)!!! So I can't set the picture on the TV channel to be normal...because HDR it either shines white or red or something else! I tried all possible settings, but nothing turns out quite right! On one occasion yesterday I turned it off tv ... and soon turned it on again ... and the picture on the channels was great! Then I go into the picture settings and watch miraculously there are normal settings without HDR modes! So I was hoping the problem was finally solved!But when i before going to bed turned off TV and turned it on in the morning ... when I have something to see! Picture again on TV chanells again in HDR mode ... I go in to check the settings and there again the picture settings with HDR !!! What to do and do you have a solution ?? ?Thanks in advance...

So in the Factory tab under option I see logo. Logo is set to Hisense and there seems to be no way to change this. Is there a way to either add a custom logo or disable the logo all together? Also, what exactly does fast boot do?

You should have options to both change it as i did in the video and to switch it off with Fast Boot. It boots the TV up faster. Thanks for the comment.

Hi and thanks for the question. Hisense like Sony and many other TV manufacturers do not use Android but a version of the Opera OS. It has it's own App store which is built into the TV menu. As far as I know there is not the incentive to develop for this OS as there is say for Android. LG Uses WebOs which they bought from HP and there are a few that do use Android. Hi. I'm sorry to bother you but I'm in a pickle. I was going through the settings and I have done something stupid and now the picture menu everything is upside down. I've put everything back, the only thing I changed was the logo.
Hi. In the menu go across to Design and then down to Setup. Make sure that Flip and Mirror are both off. Hope this helps.

Hi I have a Hisence smart TV I lost my original remote but I bought a replacement Hisence "compatible remote" However I cannot access the menu where you scan for channels and I tried to do the reboot wizard in settings. However it would not scan bc they said that Google no longer supported my model of TV and I had to get cable. I bought it in 2015. Is there anything I can do. Thanks

Any way to turn off auto update ? When my firmware updates from 01.00a.H1120 to 01.00aI0712 , I lose HDR on RUclips . You can see it's getting a VP9.2 signal on stats for nerds , but the tv says no HDR . I can reflash to the older firmware & get it back , but the auto-update fubars it up ….

@@TechItOut Sorry about getting back to you sooner (life tends to get in the way , lol) , but there is no option to toggle off/on system update . Unless it's hidden in the service menu somewhere . I didn't see it when I looked thru it either . BTY , it's an 65H8C tv bought thru Best Buy .

In the description you said you showed how to access the secret menu. You lied. Also not all Hisense Tvs have remote with numbers, mine is a Roku RR56+/7215X so you literally didn't help at all, neither did any of the comments unfortunately.

My remote stopped working so I turned the TV off then when I turned it back on I noticed the light in bottom left corner was blinking red which it use to blink red and blue ? Remote doesn't work at all and TV only works from the back to turn up volume and change the source, I can't get into the menu what so ever !! Any ideas ? HELP
Oddly this happened to me yesterday as well. All I did was change the batteries turning them a few times to seat them then switch the TV of and on and hols the remote off on button for a couple of seconds pointing it directly at the light. Hope this works for you.
