Most rappers that freestyle well, they have basic bars that they naturally play with in different ways. They describe it in multiple different ways which then leads on to other rhyme schemes and concepts that they can play with, and then when they lose it, that thought process, they slip back to a starting point which leads to something fresh. It's pretty insane what some people can pull off.
Anyone who says shit like this usually isn't lyrically inclined. Most good freestyles, Royce, Black Thought, Pusha T, Eminem don't do anything he did.
