100% I love my infraction.. Sadly it's snowing and wet so I can't go drive it around.. We got A perfectly flat road that was recently put down and it goes for like 1500ft long so perfect for any speed car run.. And also it's closed to public vehicles so no vehicles drive thru or park over there..
Yo buddy! Here's just an appreciation comment. I really glad I stumbled into your videos a year ago, I liked your content back then, now I realized I really liked your format. How you described the product, how you demo-ed them run, how you fix the issue on the said products. The jokes. Man, you put a lot of work on your videos. Keep it up buddy! A huge fan of yours!
Mate jack the back end right up. Aero on those is a brick but if you have enough rake front to back the air won’t throw the front end up. When the car squats if the back is lower than the front it will take off. I put a castle mmx8 and a 1650 1717 in my infraction. Nice British weather day and turned the car into a plane. Drew the coils right down on back and you’re golden.
i lost it when you said, "you don't want to be running on damaged nuts.." for sure! i wouldn't want to run on damaged nuts either! think it would be quite painful. great job! can't wait to see you in the next vid!
I am impressed. That is a beautiful body. Who doesn’t like the looks of a Nass truck. Wow!!! Good for you getting a second new body.!!!! Since you got the second body now you can tape the sides down and give it another run for 110.
You exceeded your goal of 100mph, congratulations. That was great and it was fun watching your trials and tribulations getting there. Since the body is a little beat I have one idea to consider if you take it out again. You probably know this. A lot of racers who run 1/10 oval cars with NASCAR bodies will cut out the rear section of the body to reduce drag. Keep up the good work.
32 degrees is mental timing, set it to 10 to 15 and add a half second delay to ensure its full throttle, my esc has a ramp on how the turbo and boost is added so may be worth having a look
Cool congrats on first 100+ mph! I plan to buy an Infraction 6s v2 but i might miss out on that cool Nascar body but i like the stock body too. I also plan to hit 100 mph or more someday with my XO-1 and my future Infraction with castle mmx8s\1717 1650KV systems or maybe a G2 style Max 6 with 4985 1650KV. I can't wait to see more from this channel.
Hey man, you should try out the ABS function most of the newer radios have. It pulses the brake at a rate that you select and it keeps the car from sliding and locking up. It helps SOOOOOO much when you’re doing big speeds and wanting to slow down to a straight stop. I’d also recommend playing with your steering curves/dual rates to help keep the steering less sensitive around center.
Yeah, I saw that doing the runs with it being wet out probably wasn’t the best… 😅😅 you should definitely go back out when it’s warmed up, I’m pretty confident if you can stay on full trigger for a bit and get into it nice and linearly without spiking the voltage it’ll do a 120 pass with ease!!
Right at the end when it was half a kilometre away I was thinking. Bet he drives to where it stopped. Good vid and awesome car. I recently got a Felony and am getting used to it. Awesome but if machinery.

Awesome! I was expecting to see a sort of vapour trail in the wet at that speed! I am also so pleased to see those expensive bodyshells being used properly!
Tha was awesome !!! 105MPH with a BRICK!!! Though, I reckon you could go way faster with a more aerodynamic body... ...not trying to plug any make, but Bittydesign does some pretty nice ones! CHEERS MATE
I watched your video on Kev Talbot I follow both y’all and the cool thing is your approach to RC is different than his but both are entertaining and informative I’m not a big basher I like to do it from time to time but it gets costly anyway your videos are awesome thank you for taking the time to do them for your audience 😊
Honestly the Infraction (both 3s and 6s BLX versions) are THE best high speed RCs money can buy, not only they're good at the top speed stuff, they're fantastic at handling whatever abuse and beating you throw at it and being fantastic AWD drift/hooning cars. Top that off with Arrma's top notch reliability and build quality (imo) and you have a winner I actually won a top speed competition with my completely stock Arrma infraction 3s in my battery category (3s category) and by a mile (2nd place used a Rlaarlo ak-917 and was like 15mph slower!) I wasn't even kind to my RC before I participated, I rolled it over many times, crashed into curbs head on at top speed, scraped curbs, jumped off of 3 stairs height into hard concrete, car didn't even mind any of that whatsoever.
Great work congratulations on that 105 mark.i have the limitless on a 100 mph system and the same foam tires but never took it out, trying to build up the nerve to do it.great video.👍✌
Another Awesome video, soon as i had the Tomley notification i dropped everything & went straight to watch it. Fantastic run buddy, Brilliant, really happy for you Phil, well deserved PB, at a cost tho but hey it was worth it in the end ! Must say your looking like Stallone in Tusla King with your new goaty beard mate although your dad dancing routine might of changed that hard man image 🤣
Congrats on the pb. I think that the front where the body and splitter meet was your biggest problem. It looks as if a lot of air could be squeezing in between the body and splitter causing it to take flight. But awesome video
Amazing run, on spoiler front id consider a split spoiler so u still get some down force for grip but also disturbed airflow to stop low pressure pocket forming behind car like vaccum effect which might slow u down at higher speed. As a project id like to see you make an active rear spoiler which stays up until +60mph then lowers like on McLarens etc!
@@TomleyRC You could easily do it with a servo and push rod like the elevators on an r/c plane. There's all sorts of aero issues at 100 mph though. The flappy sides of the body don't help. You can add vertical "fins" to the roof to help it track straight, along with the front splitter, and you DO want some aero on the rear to keep it on the ground. I know with real life pickups they've put spoilers on the back of the roof because the square cab creates a vacuum behind that was well. I bet you can get this thing to 120. That stock spoiler was really high though, something about halfway between that and flat would be better I think. Do you know anyone at McLaren? Maybe you can borrow their wind tunnel hehehe (seriously, I bet if you called them up, "I'm trying to hit 150 in an r/c car, can I borrow your wind tunnel" I bet the engineers would get a kick out of it lol)
Wow, fun video thanks for this. Looks like that European wind is getting under the body, use tape to keep the body from parachuting. This again was fun to watch I have the same body and it does flip more often then my other bodies. I got this because I figured if James McCoy can hit 180mph with it I can hit 150 which is my goal.
Nice body bro, love my infractions . My V1 has a lot of upgrades, however my V2 is kinda stock with a few different upgrades, nothing crazy. I really want a Felony even though they are very similar 😉👍🏽💯 🎉 Congratulations Phil on the 100MPH
I personally think it wiped out when you hit the slippery painted lines, rather than/or in combo with the aero.Painted lines are deadly in the wet especially..
Now when its damaged anyway, maybe its worth trying to open the rear end and extend its top and sides - make it long tail basically, maybe even cover the rear wheels. using tape to prevent sides from flapping might also help...

Congrats, that body is much tougher than I expect. Thought it would be a thin shelf queen, nothing a little E6000 and plastic welding can't fix!
I think it did hold up well, considering the speed it was crashing at!
