Fantastic video and work Paul, taking us down the dark side of human nature, it's hard to believe that these people existed thank you so much for sharing your intriguing video
We tend to think of the “good ole’ days” because we weren’t alive then so they are fantasized in our minds. I’ve discovered thru this channel and another one just how wicked people have always been. I used to have some old warrants from the 40s where people were harming each other and fighting up in the Appalachians. I had fantasized how innocent people were there but they were just the same as everywhere else and today. They were also sleeping around and other things. I found a baby born to my great aunt that I had never heard about. I heard that she was about to “have to get married”. But she lost the baby. Not sure if it’s the same baby or not. I don’t judge her. She’s been gone from this earth since 1994. That did explain why she was jealous of a couple of other women in the neighborhood. lol! Anyway, like the Bible says: the heart of man is wicked.
He was so prolific, and he wasn't exactly dashing and devastatingly handsome either. I think he must have worked on women's maternal instincts and fabricated sob stories to ensnare them.
@@joanneentwistle7653 It seems like he had a way with words, and maybe he would've handsome by the time periods standards. Otherwise, I've got nothing.
Happiest of Birthdays my good man! Tomorrow is my youngest daughter's 7th as well. This month has given us some of the best souls and kindred spirits! Celebrate your all accomplishments this year and keep up the wonderful videos, they are much appreciated!! Here's to another year of YOU!! 🎉🎈🎁🎂🎊🥳✨🪅
I'm an American, but I never heard of this killer. He must be one of the worst in our history! You have to wonder what his secret sauce was with these women that he won their hearts and trust so easily! Thanks for highlighting it!

Arsenic was freely available from pharmacies as it was the standard rat poison. I don't know about the US, but in the UK purchasers had to give their names and addresses to the pharmacist when purchasing arsenic and other poisons, but it was probably easy enough to give a false name and address.
Mr. Brodie, I thank you and your team for all that is done to bring us these videos, always very interesting and informative. Hope you are keeping well Mr. Brodie! 😊
This was truly chilling. If modern technology has accomplished anything beneficial, it has enabled the word to get out quicker when tracking down someone like this man. Sadly, there could be men like this looking for victims today. I can't comprehend a woman marrying her brother-in-law days after her sister's death, charging him and then changing her mind. If she was after financial security, it was a poor investment.
I needed this today. And for anyone wondering about the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, I looked at a couple charity rating sites, and it scores as one of the best in the world.

Is Dirk here, with poison in hand, ready to give a complete confession?” Biggles: “No…” Constable: “Perhaps his wife is prepared to come into the station and die of said poisoning while I watch?” Biggles: “Absolutely not!” Constable: “Well then, we have done all we can do. Nothing for it but to wait for thirty or forty more bodies to pile up. Once this has occurred, we shall consider questioning Mister Dastardly providing he surrenders himself to us at a convenient time with all required evidence for his conviction on his person. Now, I must bid you a good morning as it is ten am and I am quite drunk-” *constable passes out on floor*
