Well, we know if Steve ever gets depressed he can come on over and read the love-fest comments about him. He killed this track.
If you haven't heard "Mother, Father" or "Still They Ride" you are in for a treat.....Steve was the epitomy of vocal control and in my opinion, the best vocalist in Rock n Roll history.....

Pure magic. Journey at it's finest. Steve vocals weaves it's magic spell on you. This song brings back the happiest year and time of my life. I was young and in love and the Summer was beautiful. Everything a man could wish at the time. It was magic.

Such a beautifully crafted piece. I most particularly love this slow, rich, deep, soul full style, with all the carefully woven reverbed synth, bells, chorused counterpoint, etc. I think Journey is probably best known for their rhythm and lead guitar wailing songs like "Separate Ways" and "Don't Stop Believing," but this reverbed synth style adds a whole other dimension to their discography.
