yesterday i spend more than 2 hours tryna do the quest and guess what. the cammera dissapeared from my inventory. the three devs on the server weren't willing to help me so i gave up
I spent over an hour trying to get to port foster as I went through the narrow passage way my boat hit the bottom and it was sinking it threw me so hard I glitched into a non-accessible area of the boat.

The only thing I don't like abt this quest is that it spawns you with a big ship in a corner with the smallest exit

Certainly ! You can just ditch the research ship right after it spawns. Then you can use a skjold or hovercraft or anything that you want that's fast
