I'm only up because my boyfriend has food poisoning and he's throwing up and shit and I am just trying to make sure he is okay and take care of him. But I have ptsd so my thoughts run wild at this time of night and this music fits the mood perfectly as I pack my bowl; getting ready to smoke my weed, before bed. The guitar is great. I love the drums. I love Ben's voice. I dig the vibe. And I just wanna vibe to this forever. Death Cab For Cutie sets a certain type of mood... idk how to even explain it or put it into words but it is healing me and I needed it to heal me. I LOVE THIS TYPE OF MUSIC ♡ don't care if it isn't mainstream it makes me feel good when I listen to it because this music makes me feel like someone finally fucking understands.

This album is an early one, from 2001, not 2013. The precursor to _Transatlanticism,_ which is what definitively put them in the spotlight.
The progression, the transition of the focus back and forth between the guitar, vocals, and the drums. The range of emotion. Underrated song for sure!
