  • Modeling and simulation of modular multilevel converter (MMC) for high voltage direct current transmission (HVDC) based on reducing the number of considered states in MMC model prediction
    (1) The bridge arm consists of 10 sub modules, with AC, DC, and AC voltages (8000V-20kV-8000V), capable of transmitting up to 2.4MW of energy
    (2) In order to reasonably control the MMC-HVDC system, the cost function considers AC current, circulating current, and submodule capacitor voltage.
    (3) Each cost function determines the minimum number of states for controlling AC current, circulating current, and submodule capacitor voltage.
