Man, people forget how wierd necrons were in dark crusade. They could do so much ridiculous shit. And back then they were just weirder in general, lore wise. I love updated necron lore, but ngl, old necrons have charme too.
@@dr.feelgoodmalusphillips2475 yeah I remember back then, that was in 40k canon around when DoW came out so that’s what you see in Dark Crusade, but now in 9th edition it’s like everything above a Necron warrior talks now, all the cryptek stuff talks too.
@@Atlastheyote222 Not a big fan of their retcons post 5th edition. Trying to give them more "agency" & "character" I liked they were a niche faction. People saying they were too much like the Tyranids but now they're just like any other race with political squabbles and bickering amongst themselves, instead of being one big massive death plague. They still had character but were more mysterious and creepy and I mean look at them... This is an instance of "Don't judge a book by its cover" is the exact opposite.
