With the huge success Elden ring had, more companies will try to create similar games and I'm all for it. I hope these games play as well as they look.
Is any copy of "souls" are equal to the original ?.. not even close . And looking at the next failed attempts is getting more and more pathetic. People who don't have their own original ideas, never make good games. Especially when they don't even understand the success of the original.
Don't agree with u. There are some with uniqe Fighting systems and Gmeplay Ideas like Lies of P. I think its good that there are Studios that make more Soulslike Games since Fromsoftware launches one every 2-4 Years. And there are Soulslike that are much harder than any original Soulsgame like Lies of P or Bleak Faith Forsaken.
@@Schorti64 Difficulty level is the last thing that works in these games. Location designs, mystery, some depth, that feeling that you are discovering something really special...that's what they lack the most. And putting an opponent with stupid noodle attacks is zero effort...which path even elden ring unfortunately went down. For me, the pinnacle of these games was BloodBorne, before that game I didn't even like the Victorian era. And in it I was even excited about the design of the carriage or the details of the fence, not to mention the costumes. For me, even the atmosphere in which the character moves while dodging is gold. No pathetic rolling,.. majestic slides with a flow of the cloak instead :)))
@maciejvsboryna bloodborne is souls peak ^^ it's outstanding in its class when it comes to lore, atmosphere, boss music, game mechanics, and secrets to discover. It's hard to relate anything to it, but I think games like lies of p and bleak faith forsaken show that it can be done. Both are unique in their own ways. I like the diversity and new ideas for the genre, so they all spread ideas for new games in the future. Bloodborne 2 will never happen... we all know that, so we are happy with studios who try to make a step in the direction. There are pretty much bullshit soulslike out there but not all, so give them a chance and don't judge to fast ^^ Have a great day!
If the games were bad, people wouldn’t buy them. If you don’t like them, ok. No offense but your opinion isn’t equivalent to objective truth. It’s your opinion and that’s it, which you’re entitled to but it doesn’t mean it’s objectively true.
@@jordandthornburg people buy ubisoft games, spend all day watching tiktok and need to have a notice on bleach not to drink it...the opinion of the crowd is always the worst indicator of quality :)

So basically everyone wants a piece of that Elden pie. If even three of these hit the mark and play well it's a good looking year.
