Parisian Masquerade | Joshua Kyan Aalampour

This is the piano MIDI tutorial for my composition "Parisian Masquerade". I was viewing luxurious apartments in Paris online and felt inspired by the architecture - so I composed this. Am I playing into the "American overly romanticizing Paris" stereotype? Probably. But hey at least some art came out of it!

As one other commentator mentioned, the mood shifts in this piece are brilliant. I don’t know why but it makes me visualise ballerinas practising at the Royal Ballet studios (very specific, I know 😂 but I was surrounded by a lot of dancers and classical musicians growing up).
