It’s interesting to see the progression from “So Siddhi and I” to “CD and I”.
If RUclips introduces a "1 comment per video" rule then Pokhraj Roy would die of withdrawal symptoms.
If that ever happens, I can always write essays. You will have to deal with big blocks of text IN EVERY VIDEO.
@@PokhrajRoy.I will take that even today pokhraj please
Hey! Just wanted to drop by and thank you guys for this podcast and creating this community and space.
I’m writing this as someone for whom your podcast episodes have been a constant companion throughout her architectural thesis - which was one of the toughest things I’ve tackled in my life.
And now that it is done and I’ve finally graduated, I haven’t been able to sleep ever since. ( I do suffer with insomnia occasionally) I tried meditation, binaural beats, medication, you name it. Today after a month of being constantly awake, I chose to catch up on the few missed episodes of tiss, and to be able to say that I slept like a baby has brought me to tears! (I promise I mean this as a compliment and I do rewatch them when I’m awake to hear what you guys have to say)
But yes I believe it’s the highest form of a compliment because you’ve been able create such a safe space, virtually, without knowing me personally, just goes on to show your sincerity and genuinity towards this podcast!
Love you guys and you’ll have a fan and supporter in me till the end of time!
Art aur artist ka baat Kiya aur asli artist nikal gaya 😂
I'm so glad that they mentioned the Vincent van gogh is scene from Dr. Who. The most heartwarming scene ever. 🌸😭 I cried so much after watching that.
I did not know but I was lowkey missing Adar doing nautanki when Varun says the intro lolol!!!
Pokhraj Roy -Please start posting comments 🤪
Oops I forgot to do that today lol
This is like telling the Sun to emit light.
@@PokhrajRoy.My brother is everywhere 😁💓
Has pokhraj seen everything on youtube that I am interested in or has he seen much more, which I don't even know about.
@@Burner__ Varun has finished Netflix, I’ve finished RUclips lol
Please bring more guests like these
You guys have motivated me to buy a small journal and start doodling. I had completely forgotten how relaxed i used to feel post doodling, among all the chaos n work.
Omg thats such an intense thought of drawing something instead of taking picture to stay in that moment for much longer and also observing things much more deeply…Amazing Kautuk! 👌👌👌
Art is subjective but my joy at seeing AADAR on the podcast is objective.
P.S. The thumbnail is cursed as always.
Arre Varun Thakur, yeh Pokhraj Roy ke saath podcast karlo... yeh itna lonely hai ki RUclips pe aake sabke videos par comment karte rehta hai baar baar.
@@Hey.MangoJango Haha that’s never going to happen. Deal with my comments till then.
@@PokhrajRoy.Bhai videos mere pe bhi comments karle yaar. Main bhi thoda bahot funny hu yaar
@@Hey.MangoJango"Itna lonely hay ki" is a assumption based conclusion which serves ego in the satisfying manner but from practically logical perspective, not necessarily the case 😊
This YT channel is just so special. Feel so fortunate to have been following the guys all these years.
Building in Gujarat.... Named Rani ki vav.. it is soo well designed and the work is unbelievable architecture...
Why isn't there majnu bhai in this conversation, it's pretty rude to skip such refined artist!!
Part#2 with Neville please 🙏
Nice to see you again Aadar :)
I have a request. Can you please make a honest episode on your requirements of a friend. What do you look for in a friend. What do they mean to you. Do friends matter in your personal life. For example, when they make fun of you, do you play along and make self depreciating jokes? Upto what extent do you make self depreciating jokes. Do your friends know upto what extent they should make fun of you. Do you have an unsaid rule between you guys? Would you consider them family. I hope you know what I mean. Thanks if you're reading this. Btw I watch this every week. Most of the times also re-watch multiple episodes throughout the day. Thanks!
Rat was named "Splinter". Also one of the great painters of that era named Giovanni di Ser Giovanni, also known as Lo Scheggia, or "the Splinter". I think it was reference to his short stature.
Discussing ART without bawa is like having pineapple on pizza
Its lovely?
Yes! I need Bawa's FLOO-FLAH! 😆😆😆
I live in Washington DC and it has all kinds of mesmerizing museums, most of which are free. One such museum is the National Gallery of Art which has the only Leonardo da Vinci painting in the Americas on display. It's called Ginevra de' Benci and you can get so close to it that you can breathe 2 inches away from it. The museum is never crowded, except on exhibition days, it's free, you can sit in front of Ginevra for hours and admire Da Vinci's work at your own leisure. One of the most surreal experiences. Kautuk and Siddhi will particularly like this one a lot.
34:31 Varun is so real for this: They’ll be sexist about boys learning culinary arts but then they see one reality show which gives you a cash prize, then it’s all encouragement.
KAUTUK’S Quote: “I think the point of trying to do art is not to get good at it. It’s to access those parts that art will enable you to access.”
I live 5 blocks from the Ottawa art gallery and I’m happy to see Kautuk mention the spider, can’t just not notice it, even if it’s an every day sight!
Thumbnail on the video is work of art. 😂
Movie recommendation: Loving Vincent (2017) 🙌
11:31 Watching this while working on a freelance illustration and redoing things because of tiny details that the client didn't like. Pretty sure Da Vinci took 18 years to make Mona Lisa because he had to remake things a number of times till the client finally approved!
Ngl watching Varun exploring the Louvre would be a great documentary.
P.S. Varun’s Vine with those Mona Lisa puns will never not be iconic.
We need Neville for art episode
"Leonardo" A 2021 TV series, must watch for people interested in knowing about the extraordinary life of Leonardo da Vinci and the works which made him famous. It also features Michael Angelo and shows how they crossed paths in their life.
You guys should definitely check out the works of Damien Hirst. His work are some of the most out there pieces. I hesitate to put any labels like sculpture/installation/exhibition because they are a bit anomalous and very conceptual. Very interesting stuff.
1:13:18 It’s titled ‘Balma Kyun Ghode PE Sawaar Hain’
First 30 min of this episode is just everyone showing off 😂 when i was in Paris.... When i was in Florence..... When i was in Russia.... When i was in Canada ....
My favourite Indian Art Forms are Madhubani, Bikaneri, Kalighat style, Santhal art and folk/indigenous paintings.
I watched that scene from Doctor who and I cried profusely. Thanks Aadar and Kautuk.
Oh noe i thought art episode Bawa baath karega . This is a heartbreak for Bawa simps sksksk
@cowtuk ‘s background drawers look like an Egyptian flag 😂
I feel my fav moment of seeing an original work was seeing Jamini Roy's painting in Kolkata museum. Ig it was special because being an artistic person i had studied about him and though he has a distinct style hes a much lesser known artist. It was nice to be the only one in the grp who knew the artist.
Varun took me out with ‘Madhuri Ka Fan Hussain’ HAHAHA
19:21 Kautuk is some different talent yaar… how is he speaking with his mouth closed
the mention of Kim Jung Gi made me clap. Thanks, Kautuk.
Quote of the Day: “Parents dikhaye Monet, bachche chale sone(t).”
1:00:26 So beautifully articulated and absolutely agree. Why are we socialised to see art as freebies?
Now one topic for next podcast: if you get hands on Time Machine, what will you do with it? Whom you will visit?
I think they’ve done a version of this topic but I’d love to hear about this topic.
Can someone help me with the name of the book that Kautuk mentioned about explanations of certain art pieces?
Watching this episode while writing my master's dissertation on Museums and Art. 😂 So many beautiful facts by the TISS boys put out in such funny ways. Sad I can't use them though 😂
This is the topic where bawa was necessary
Rabindranath Tagore is poster child for abundant artist. Broski constructed multiple houses to fill them up with furniture he built.
Van Gogh k pass kaan nahi hai aur Bawa k pass bahut kaan hai. Great kaan masti!
24:00-24:30 kautuk is frozen - Sai internet services.
Its magic that Kautuk can talk without moving his lips 😂😅
Art is valued at that level since it’s easy for money laundering instead of cash.
That thumbnail is a thing of art 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Art or artist ka baat kiya or aasli artist nikal gya 😋
Jaggu dada cooking show already is based on a old sketch done by Suresh Menon and Purbi Joshi, where Suresh acts as Jaggu dada and Purbi as a TV host. It was hilarious
I love you guys . Most intresting n fun people snd podcast . ❤
53:50 In Kolkata, we have ‘I Love Keshtopur’. I laughed a lot but idk I found it endearing 😂
I was expecting to hear something about Majnu Bhai's famous painting. & very happy by the end.
Art aur artist ka baat Kiya asli artist gayab ho gaya
AADAR talking about works with Charcoal by Selmon Uncle was nice because it cut the suspense.
Sonalisa😂😂 This is what I come here for.
Kautuk 🙌 for mentioning Indian artists...
Art aur artist ka baat kiya and asli artist Nikal gaya - Kautuk
Half of the video is over...... I am still waiting for the mention of majnu bhai painting 😂😂😂
“Ay, main Da Vinci Hoon!” - Leonardo Da Vinci.
57:24 M.F. Hussain did it before New Yorkers who make doodles on the Subway and give it to the subject they were drawing.
Origins Of Salvadore Mundi
Salvadore: Bhai Leonardo, meri mundi ki ek photo bana de
Leonardo Da Vinci: Say Less
1:12:43 AADAR is a legend for coming up with new and interesting monkey facts.
You mean AADAR monkey RADAR in on-key 😬
Nene bhi yes yes ho jayega.. OMG 😂😂😂😂
Where's da new podcasttt?
Art aur artist ka baat kiya aur asli artist nika gaya🤌!!!
1:01:22 I’ve heard of that and it’s truly beautiful. Also, even more important are the female artists who never got their due in life.
Where is tiss podcast on adipurush..eagerly waiting
That thumbnail though 😂
New episode kidhar hai?
Varun Thakur looks like marathi actor Ankush Chaudhari or Vice Versa. 😁
Or maybe Varun got his acting dream fulfilled by a different name. 🤫
Feeling so so good to see this love from US
I went to the same museum in Ottawa as 🐮 🛺.. my wife really wanted to visit while I was craving for food.. after the 1st floor, I was groggy and hungry and she was 🥱.. 😂
30:43 the sheer suddenness of the movement
Fun Fact: Banksy communicates with letters.
You should have kept the fourth frame as Mona Lisa and kept changing it as you progressed to different piece of Art.
Bengal School of Art, Patachitra and Kalighat Painting
1:04:32 I remember this from ‘Koffee With Karan’ Season 2 with Kunal Kapoor.
Bhai please 50 aur comment kar de. Itne me Mera mann nahi bhar raha
@@MohakJoshi1 Agar aap ke liye comment likhun, toh Aap reimburse nahi karenge aur gaali padegi doosron se. Not an ideal situation.
I was told once that if you saw everything at the Cairo Museum, it’d take you 4 years.
Waiting for Varun to tell stories about African safari
India had Raja Ravi Varma as well not just MF Hussain..
Kautuk is stuck in his thoughts or is it the 2nd floor of the gallery?😂
Art aur artist ka baat kiya, aur asli artist nikal liya
I’ve heard about Van Gogh and he was truly gifted but my goodness was he given a hard time to pursue his passions. Times have changed though 🌝
Of course Sallu Bhai had to get a mention
Missing Neville!
Killed.....😂😂😂😂 1:09:16
Please bring all the 4 boys together on all the podcasts please
This episode ironically had Kautuk's potrait for a good 5 minutes. Or was he posing for someone who was drawing him like one of his French storyteller? 🤔
MOCO museum was fantastic
8 minutes into the episode and I am really hoping they discuss the famous artist, majnu bhai 😔
Don’t know how they do it but these boys can talk on any topic under the sun and make it super fun! ❤
Doctor and Vincent was the best episode
Jackie Shroff, Vijay Raaz and Dharmendra on the TISS COOKING SHOW! Also, I’d like to be a writer on the show.
Y’all forgot about one of the greatest artists of our time- Majnu Bhai, younger brother of Shetty bhai.
Word of the Day: Foofla
