Members of Congress has duties outside of their respective chambers, such as committee meetings, meeting with constituents, office hours, etc., and they sometimes hold these sessions to get something on the record.
Once upon a time, the politicians would argue over how much money to spend. Now politicians argue over how much money to borrow.
Lobbyists need to be honed in. Insider trading needs to be stopped. Congress has gotten too fat and they don't care. Things must change. Stop the UNI Party, end corporate control. Get them out of our cabinets. Don't vote in UNI PARTY candidates. Vote them out. RFKjr or anyone who isn't D or R, aka UNI PARTY.

I was in the military as a supply clerk. I had an operating budget of 1 million dollars per year. I HAD to show every penny spent by my ship. If I could not account for 1 cent there was an audit. Why is the Pentagon ( a military facility) not able to account for the monies they have used? Who are they holding accountable? Gold would be a first because most older adults used it prior to the US turning to fiat currency in the 70s. @@lucajo16 crypto is literally a completely unbacked fiat currency; and if we tried to back all the currency in circulation with gold the price of gold would go up several (at least) orders of magnitude having severe downstream consequences. The answer is more in tightening regulations on the fractional reserve system. (Using gold would also collapse the debt and equity markets as the exchanges tried to price stuff in hyperinflating asset.) Edit: spelling error corrected.

My wife works for the government and makes almost 120k to do next to nothing 49 out of 52 weeks of the year. Her mom is retired from government and still makes 100k a year. Her whole family has gotten rich off the taxpayers and given almost nothing in return. Her dad is worth a few million. It’s criminal.

Every American should watch this! I am embarrassed to say that I am not as familiar with David Schweikert as I should be, but I will definitely be paying very close attention to what he has to say. This man makes 100% sense and it is an absolute shame that government doesn’t want solutions, just more funding… They don’t care about us. America needs these positive and fresh ideas combined with common sense to help solve these problems!

I'm 42 with two younger siblings 2 and 4 years younger. We're "more poor" than our parents and my mother didn't understand why. She didn't understand nominal vs real wages and how it relates to purchasing power.

You are correct, and when I asked him personally about this, he was surprised that I felt we shouldn't. He felt that it was a natural decision to do so. I'm sure it was something to do with opposing the Russian Bear and all that. He's a math geek, but I don't think he makes the connection that our spending in the global sphere is just as suspect when it's borrowed and deserves even more scrutiny. The defense of yelling would just be an excuse not to do the job. Americans are calling People that they clearly attacked in Alameda County homeless as if it is normal to lie to Law Enforcement and the Courts about owning Someone Else's home. Congress and the Prosecutors are making it appear that these lies are light weight apparently by wasting our time arguing with the known criminals. We do not get to say something that is not true is true because of who we like telling the lies. I do not know where the ones involved learned that from but that is the most deceptive and devious teaching in American History. Besides that kind of mess is no longer tolerated and should not have been tolerated based on job titles and who Someone knows in the first place. Most of us can stand alone and be more honest and responsible than thousands of followers. These facts has been proven over and over again. How long is Congress going to allow the DOJ to let Law Enforcement and the Prosecutors in Alameda County use the Court and Court Staff to make it appear People have legal evictions and Court Staff make court dates for Attorneys. The Court Rules of Law clearly states that Pro Se and Attorneys have to confer and meet. Now we are bypassing those important steps like the steps in my settled order and other agreements when a fake name was put on my home with Law Enforcement, the Prosecutors, and the Court fully aware in Oakland, CA. It's a bandaid solution from problems created with allowing companies to not pay living wages to employees who end up having the state to subsidize those low wages with food stamps.
We have to cut government spending by 90%. Only the elderly, veterans and children that cant care for themselves should be getting government funds. I would also force the military industrial complex to pay down some of that debt since they have reaped all the profits of their war machine on the backs of taxpayers.
