What are the tips you are excited to try out? Let me know how they work out for you. I consistently #1, #2 #3 and #4. I have played with #5 not too long ago and found it useful. Hope you are all well!
I'm so grateful for this video, thank you! I'm particularly fond of the open awareness exercise! It can help while meditating in the outdoors :) The fifth exercise it's still too difficult for me tho ahah You're always thoughtful in your videos, making them easy to understand! Thank you again!
You're welcome Greta and I am so grateful you are here too! I will talk more about open awareness little by little. Someone else, Michael, also asked a question about it in another comment. So more to follow! Hope you're well Greta!
Hello pbhello :) Cool, yes, I am excited too to share about some tips to make meditation a habit. It is challenging. No one really started meditation and never missed a session after hahaha ... Our habits are so strong and our mind so restless that it doesn't want to stay in one place and it tells us we have other things more important to do! So yeah, i hope you'll enjoy next week's video. When did you start practicing meditation? What brought you here?
Building a consistent practice is indeed important but it is a good thing you stayed in touch with it though. Well, I hope this week's video will help you. Let me know if I can help, always happy to do so. ruclips.net/video/QnJseZbh8vI/видео.html
Hi Anselmo, what I would say is just to be aware of the time spent on your mobile phone in general and see if you can reduce that. It also depends what you watch on youtube. What kind of seeds does the content you're watching water in you. I made a video called Understanding our mind. Have you watched it? If you haven't, please give it a go. Then you'll be more careful about the type of content you consume. Does that help?
Hi there! You are very welcome, I am glad to see that you like them! About your request, I had already planned on it and it is scheduled for sometime in November next month! Stay tune! Also, I am trying to learn about my audience so if you have time, I'd love to hear about you, how long you've practiced and what brought you to meditation. Have a great week!
@@PeacefulBreathing Thank you for your response sir. I look forward to the video. I have been practicing mindfulness meditation since July 2021 and what brought me to it was when I faced some anxiety and depression over the summer. I researched ways to help myself and mindfulness came up.
@@CoNx3Kt My pleasure, I am always happy to help and support you. You will see, what you will learn through mindfulness is just going to be life changing. Not that life will stop to be hard at times. But the best is ahead of you. The fact that you recognized your difficulties and are searching to find a way out is amazing. Always feel free to reach out for support.
Hi Olivier. Thank you for the helpful tips. I have heard mediation teachers talk about open awareness. In my mindful breathing practice, when do I know to move to a more open awareness? Is it when something calls my attention? Thanks you!
Hi Michael, I am glad to hear you're finding the videos helpful. Great question! The way that I practice is that I usually start by practicing mindful breathing with the first 3 exercises. When I feel I am more present (could be a few mins, could be 15 mins, it depends on the day), that the thoughts have slowed down, that I can follow my breath clearly for some time, I let go of my focus to rest in the open awareness and simply be (which can feel weird and uncomfortable at the beginning). I am simply aware of what is happening and rest in this space. At some point, i will be carried away by some thoughts and wake up from it. Then I switch back to mindful breathing to resettle my mind and emotions. So to answer your question, I move to a more open awareness after I feel I can clearly see and follow my breathing happening for a few moments, when I feel I am relaxed and settled. That is my first "goal", to settle my mind and body. Then after, I practice open awareness or other types of meditation. But you can try anytime and experiment. Meditation is a place of experimentation. I'll record a guided meditation, maybe that will help. Is this helpful or do you feel still confused?
Hi Jerin, meditation is a bit like exercising… if you exercise regularly, you will become fitter. But if you stop, you will loose your fitness, your body will loose the muscles it built. Meditation is the same. Meditation is like an exercise for the brain. It will strengthen certain parts of the brain. But if you stop, it will loose the abilities it gained through your practice. Hope this helps, enjoy your practice!

@@PeacefulBreathing I've been meditating periodically for about 5 years. Not nearly consistently enough to make a difference.

Thank you for these videos sir. Do you think you can make a video to teach us how to not fall asleep during meditation?

@@Mitho101 Sounds good! I'l record one, just give me a few days. Most likely early next week. Cheers! Nice meeting you!
Do you breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth or what do you suggest?
I breathe in and out through the nose. I find it easier to follow my breath.
Sir if i do meditation long enough will the changes that happen because of meditation get permanent
