      Kumerow has great potential in spurts but his dropped balls are gut wrenching. These are only the highlights; Kumerow definitely has some low moments. Lazard, though, is a beast. Hopefully he's okay after going down last night.

      He still is vintage Rodgers. What's changed is the talent at the receiver position. Rodgers had Jordy Nelson, Bubba Franks, and Greg Jennings in his days throwing 30+ TD passes. You also have to remember that Green Bay is running successfully for more TD's so there's less pressure for Rodgers to make impossible throws. I think you will see Rodgers numbers go up again once he has more weapons at the receiver position. He still has as good of an arm as ever. In the playoffs, I expect Rodgers to ball out more like he did against KC and the Raiders if the offense goes nowhere.

    Honestly I feel in retrospect I’ll really consider this one of my favorite regular seasons, the most stressful games, regardless of why, are often some of the most pleasant to revisit, and this season has plenty but not without a few truly great beatings that they’ve delivered.

  • @khm3rboi215

    For a new head coach, play caller, new playbook, and average recievers. I thought he did well. We hold him to such high standards. We all use to complain to get help around him. Now that we can rely on a running game and defense, we shouldn't say he's no longer the same Aaron Rodgers. His role has changed to a game manager. The chemistry with his recievers is definitely missing minus Davante Adams. Overall I'd take our QB over any other QB in this league.

    • @penguin12902
      @penguin12902 5 лет назад +15

      Could you imagine how hard they would have dominated if they had this defense and pass protection when they had receivers?? What was it a few years back when they were putting up 30+ points and still losing games....

      We hold him to high standards because we gave him that money that we wouldn’t have given to anyone else. I just hope it doesn’t come back to bite us because I can see the aging in him already.

      @@alisteroidthecheatertestos964 13:3... what the hell are people like you complaining about? we got a rookie headcoach, new playbook and undrafted receivers...best since '11. last two season 7-9 and 6-9-1... next draft we focus on ball catchers and get even stronger + used to a new playbook. BEST ROOKIE HEADCOACH SEASON IN YEARS!!
      At one point people like you have to question their expectations... did you expect us to go 16:0 and win the superbowl? yeah, then you ll probably be disappointed but thats not on rodgers... even if they go one and out in the playoffs this team has exceeded their expectations by a mile and I´m getting sick of all these negative comments of so called "fans".

    • @uwujdu7940
      @uwujdu7940 5 лет назад +6

      @@alisteroidthecheatertestos964 and your aging comment is straight up arm chair headcoaching at its finest. unless you developed their playbook you simple have not the slightest clue. are you talking about missed throws? do you know the routes the receivers are supposed to run? is it rodgers throwing it wrong or the receivers running it wrong? how would you know? how about its on both? how about the fact that everyone in this team is learning a COMPLETELY new playbook and mistakes arise in the FIRST season? are you talking about less scrabling? maybe this is part of the playbook to protect a quarterback who played the last two seasons crippled because of him carrying a terrible team? so now hes 13:3 and people start complaining about him declining while they are having the best regular season since '11? do you people even listen to what you are saying?

    Why did Aaron have to be so damn good from 2011-2016? So now when he does just enough or simply just does his job , and if the stats aren’t tremendously insane (like the numbers he put up the 2 MVP and ‘Run the table’ years) people will say he’s washed up or having a down year.
    He gets scrutinized over basically nothing. How many times do you see a QB put up numbers that other QBs would dream of? In a quote on quote “down year”
    It’s actually laughable 😂 GO PACK GO

    Here after watching the Jets lose their 8th game in 11 weeks. Abysmal. I have re watched all of this man's highlights from 09 to current day film. Rodgers started the season in 19 with the very last of him driving with his legs and throwing over the top, driving force through his front leg. That begins to fade as the season goes on. You can see a little bit of gimp start later in the season here and his arm angle drops as he permanently changes over to more of a rotational throwing ability he's always had and used from time to time.
    Rodgers had a surgery on his left knee in 16, re injured his left knee in 18 (Bears game injury) then opted out of offseason surgery. He used that same rotational throwing style to get through that Bears game and through his MVP runs. Evidently, that area started to get banged up in 19 mid-season. From here his play style permanently changed.
    With that existing injury and the Achilles, I'd say it fair to assess that Aaron Rodgers is unable to use his left leg anymore. This man is almost 41 playing football with one leg right now. If he hadn't had those 2 left leg injuries I bet he would still be contending for MVPs even on the Jets.

    Aaron Rodgers made great throws this year, though I noticed the football wobbled on almost every pass he threw to a receiver. I imagine that's why his yards total and completion percentage are down. As the velocity of a QB's ball decreases he fails to complete certain passes between the numbers and gives up on certain plays. Rodgers already throws the football away more than any other QB in the NFL. That doesn't bode well for the future.
    I'm happy to see that similar to coach Belichick, Matt LeFleur put a team around an aging quarterback. If only a certain NY QB had been so fortunate.
