I have exactly the same guard product/part. However, another YT video recommended to use 4.5-5" from the top but your application is way up about 2" from the nose point. Another YT video demonstrated that if it's too hight it will not provide adequate protection at the bottom part where most scratches and damages occur. I haven't decided how to glue yet just measuring 100 times and trying to glue just once :)

The guard is pre-formed so mate it up as best you can
Is the 4200 still holding up well? I was told that Marine Good should work just fine. I'm about to install one now.
There is one edge that about 4inches that has seperated. I tried to find the 5200 but seems like it has been banned in CA
@@DaBinChe thanks for the reply. 5200 is pretty nasty when you get it on things you didn't intend to. I'm going to try Marine Goop.

holding up fine, just the adhesive I used is not holding

I never tried Marine Goop, so can't say
