My dad used to spank me even though I wasn't throwing tantrums, going to any boys houses, or drinking alcohol, or any drugs, stealing and I thought it was unfair because I was not doing anything evil.
I did have a boyfriend, and this was the only reason why my dad used to spank me.
I survived it, but I was not really resentful because of his correction and how he rebuked me during my growing teenage years.
I will be honest about becoming resentful towards both my parents because my dad was verbally and physically abusing my mother and us.
I have forgiven my parents now that I am an adult because I was finally allowed by my parents to speak freely about how I felt for so many years.
I am free from any resentment.
I am free indeed.
