I was lucky I jump in the trails train (and also YS) during COVID at the mid to end of 2020 so I don't need to wait long. I just need to wait for CS 4 at April 2021 because I do not have a console I need to wait for PC version

Imagine after this ending you'd have to wait for CS4 to release. This is probably one of the worst cliffhangers in gaming. The only game I played with a similarly bad cliffhanger might be the adventure game Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.

Why are you surprised that, after Sky FC and CS 1, that CS 3 ends with a cliff hanger? And be glad that you do not have to wait a year or more for CS 4 and that you can jump in immediatly.
Congrats on getting another one under your belt. For the record, Osborne isn't a homunculus, you'll see what his deal is eventually. Don't feel bad if you have to leave Trails for a few days. 4 starts with a long series of cutscenes that lead without break into the 1st battle It's gonna take awhile to get through them. Haver fun!
Yep - It will take some time before things go rolling. The first series of cutscenes just paint the situation like it is, now the curse has it's grip on everything. A bit of "setting the stage", so take your time...

Yeah - Ash was doomed from the start. Indeed, war often sparks innovation. Sadly it's not the kind of innovation that benefits the people at war time. As examples - The German V1 and V2 rockets (that where fired in WW2 to England not far from where I live by the way), and of course the Atomic bomb. Later on parts where used in less destructive way's (rockets for satellites and the moon missions, and nuclear energy plants and isotopes for cancer treatment as a result from that bomb research). Anyway - Back to the game. Yay - The fool has been fooled. Those soldats and Valimar are in. But what mission Aurelia had by taking Ash? So many things going on... That beast is brought down, but keeps coming back. Cedric is now officially a rotten piece of an heartless being. An impossible fight? The Courageous destroyed, together with the Prince and companions? That feels unreal. Poor Laura! But now we can see that Musse plays a far more crucial role that we taught she did. She predicted it all? She wanted to see hit with her own eyes? Is she some kind of mastermind? The Pantagruel takes in all those soldats and goes... Somewhere? What the hell? Millium got killed and her soul turned into that sword, while Rean goes full Demon and did the one thing he should not have done. Damn! Now the curse if fully released. And the spark of war is ignited.. So - Osborne has his Devine Knight all the time? Damn again! And now Nevercraven, you can see why waiting for Cold Steel IV was a torture for us early (English) players. We had to wait for more than a year for the story to continue! Be glad you can play it immediately (if you want to). Little tip - The sound settings in CS IV are the same as in CS III. You can set the music a tad higher though. Especially in this last dungeon the level was very low... Now - Good luck with the next game! You will need it!
@@bucktae in all honesty, if you don't see a person actually die they can always come back. Even more in a Trails game considering Osborne. As such I do hope/think angelica is also still around. Part of me wants George to not be pure evil.. just a bastard.. 😅 So in short, I hope they are but I'll wait till we get it confirmed one way or another.
@@Nevercraven Well done. CS4 will be the final of the Erebonia arc, and Reverie will be the final of the combined Erebonia and Crossbell arc. It's a bit comparable to Trails In The Sky 3th. Trails Through Daybreak will be the start of a complete new arc, and this time it's situated in the Calvard Republic. Anyway - I played just a tiny bit of Reverie, so I can dive into it fully alongside your LP. This is not only because I wanted to do it that way (witch is also true of course), but also because I have LOTS of other games to play at the same time. That includes a lot of new games, like Ys X - Nordic, Dragon Age - The Veilguard and of course Atelier Yumia around Q1 next year. There is also a not-online and stand-alone full sized Atelier Resleriana game also coming in 2025, named Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian. For this last one there is no release date given, only that it is in 2025. So - My plate is already fully filled, so I have the luxury to play the Trails games at a slow pace without twiddling my thumbs, what is ideal when playing alongside with an LP.
