I literally just put mine down, I was walking around the house noodling. The older I get, the more I want to play sitting down, so I try to play standing up sometimes still, and that turned into walking around the house with a strat attached to me
That was how my first electric was, it was a bc rich asm standard with the floyd rose. Bought it with my own money after saving up for months. It was just so nice to have my own, and it be an actually decent guitar, as opposed to a squire strat that couldn't hold a tune for shit.
@@craigusselman546Actually, it looks like a modern Strat. The period is discerned by the headstock size and shape, and the “Fender” logo, neither of which we can see. All of the Strat bodies are based on the 1954 Strat. The fretboard has 22 frets and Fenders only had 21 frets until about 1983/84. But I appreciate that to most people, it would look like the Strats which their favourite players used.
That is a beautiful Strat, I still have my 25th Anniversary Strat I purchased brand new in 1980, your going to love your new Fender Stratocaster. ❤🌹❤🎵🥰🎸
idc what anyone says bruh this comment makes complete sense to me, her hair flows and has a nice color, the guitar sounds beautiful and has a nice color
@@craigpimlott204it's sad too, cause the Vintera have that C shape people desire most from a Fender neck, and to hear they are twisted or damaged... is just sad.
@@caiusmadison2996 yes the neck is a good shape .I forgot about the back bow on one of the ones I tried ..the truss rod was loose and you could hear it rattling .but there was still no relief in the neck, it buzzed half way up the neck it was unplayable really. If it was a dual action truss rod I could of put a bit of relief into the neck but being a single action truss rod it was a no go a scrap neck without a lot of work .that one was a special edition Dave Gilmour version so was a lot dearer than a stock Vintera strat ..seems like there’s a lot of problems with these guitars .
I just bought a new Players Series Strat HSS Floyd Rose ,“Tidepool” model & I just want to stare at it…..lol. I got a new 1979 Strat for Christmas years ago & I ended up losing it due to stupid life choices. I really researched this one & it is perfect for me. I don’t care where it came from, yes it is assembled in Mexico, but I have gone over this thing, head to toe, & it is a beautiful guitar! No dings, no dents, sounds great, polished frets, no buzz, no fret sprouts, etc. I have learned a few things since losing my 1st Strat & that is I don’t take things for granted anymore. So Lexi I am happy you love your Strat, there is nothing like them!
I remember the guitar options back in 90's there was so few, and in third world countries, imagine being a left handed? Now I see tons of options for all tastes! Congrats!
Love it! I have a Player P bass in Ocean Turquoise metallic, and it smokes most basses I played in comparison. The only bass I’ve played that had a better feeling neck is the 40th Anniversary Squier P Bass. That neck’s satin finish and feel exceeds it’s price point. But my Player P Bass feels like home to me. I can imagine the same with the Strat. Your Strat sounds like how it should, and is beautiful. I have a ‘96 Squier Series Strat and it also feels and sounds amazing. Congrats on the new baby!
The Strat is still the most iconic guitar ever made. When non-musicians think of an electric guitar, or artists create visuals or art of musicians playing electric guitar, it almost always ends up looking like a Fender Stratocaster.
I was just about to buy the HSS Fender Player strat, the 3 color Sunburst today... At the very last minute I was swayed by the Ibanez S series, now I'll have to wait for the strat. That buttercream is gorgeous btw
Props to Lexi for not hiding my original comment. I wanna be clear I wasn't trying to poke at her just the corporations that have wedged themselves in between the artists; who just want to play music, and the fans who just want to listen and enjoy it. Thanks for hustling and making such good content for us Lexi. We appreciate you
I love seeing people get that one guitar that they have wanted for so long….it’s beautiful and priceless what a guitar can make you feel even when your not playing it
Love that colour! I ended up going for the shell pink with baked maple neck, which I love. But that buttercream is sexy as hell. Really great guitar for the money.
Aaaaand this is why it's important to always add to the guitar collection. Every new axe is a new source of inspiration. Beautiful guitar and excellent tune!
Oh, you're an angel, sweetheart. That color is really beautiful. It suits you perfectly. Your sweet little fingers playing those soft, quiet notes are divine. Thanks for sharing. I'm so happy for you. By the way. I have a beautiful white strat with an ebony fingerboard. I love it, too. Many of my favorite 🎸 guitarists play them. The different tones are incredible.
Buttercream is a fabulous color. It is dope out cool. They stock pups do sound great. I put a set of Seymour duncan YJM pickups in mine and it sounds like my custom shop Fender now.
Lexi..., wow, you really liked this guitar.... hahahaha All I had to do was take it out of the box and start composing music.....lol. That's how it is, if you felt like it, why wait another day to play..., and it played beautifully... Brazil..., Monday at 19:22, at night. And may God continue to bless you...😊😊😊😊
I got a fsr neon green with ebony fretboard version this week😁👍🎸and its very addictive guitar! Ive been a shred guy for 30 years...and now im loving that clean strat qwak
the stratocaster is the kind of object i never get tired of, sometimes i roam around the house with mine, it just feels right
So I’m not alone 😂😂
I thought I was crazy!!!! I hang out with the wrong people
I used to do that with my tele. I would nap with it on the sofa in between playing /practising.
I literally just put mine down, I was walking around the house noodling. The older I get, the more I want to play sitting down, so I try to play standing up sometimes still, and that turned into walking around the house with a strat attached to me

Holy crap that guitar is smooth like butter
Its got that 70s look beautiful enjoy

squier classic vibe better value, only buy player series if you just want a fender logo on the neck

No. The world needs more triangle, recorder, and marching band style cymbal players
One of my favourite fender colours. Yngwie malmsteen loved it too.
You know it’s a good guitar when Malmsteen likes it
Didn't he use a scalloped fret board? I've never tried to play one of those but I do like scalloped potatoes lol!
That butterscotch has always been a great look.

The white/cream pallet has always been one of my favorites, looks absolutely amazing.
Congrats, this is a great guitar! The buttercream color is gorgeous!
This reminds me of the yardbirds glimpses. Check it out. Got the same feel but still very original. And the maple neck! Beautiful.
