@@Fabricplants I saw them originally as a 3-piece band opening for Rollins Band in 1989. There were great, but even better when they added the second guitar and all those great vocal harmonies.

Wow! Incredible footage! The 90's had so many incredible bands that today's kids will never know of (think Jawbox, Cap'n Jazz, Orchid, Drive Like Jehu, UoA, Shotmaker, and on and on); when they look up "90's punk," they like find Green Day, NOFX, The Exploited, The Offspring, or NYHC stuff, which is unfortunate; this type of stuff, mathy post-punk, is kind of lost to history :-( Jawbox, you are sorely missed !!! Thank God for RUclips giving us the ability to look back at great stuff like Jawbox in 1996!
Yeah... it's great to see so many acts reunite. Gives us a chance to find better quality footage too in the future on youtube. I got lucky to see many of those bands in the past. Jesus Lizard was another great band who reunited and played mad good. Drive Like Jehu were great too. I hope this means that we are slowly marching towards seeing Fugazi reunite and play again... One can only hope.
This was a great upload! J. Robbins is so underrated as a musician and a producer. If you new listeners like Jawbox, also check out J. Robbins other post-Jawbox bands such as Burning Airlines, Channels, and Office of Future Plans.
That ride sounds really nice!!!!!!!!!!!! I never got into these guy's back in the day but my buddy was obsessed with them, I saw an ep at Goodwill and that's why i'm hear checking this out to see if I've missed anything .

Great producer indeed
What a wonderful video. Zak and Kim were a rhythm section like no other. Kim’s bass tone on those Atlantic records is my absolute favorite
Her bass playing is underrated. She's better than Laura Balance from Superchunk.
J. Robbins has such a thick neck. I never noticed how big it was until I saw the Novelty jewel case insert.
Kim is one of the best bass players to watch. And I don't mean that in a sleazy way
I got you,she always looked so happy.♥️
one of the best bassisrs to listen to as well!
@@chrisgugino1957 got you. Great sound and style
Kim 😍She was my crush in High School
I can totally see why. Same here. 😂.
Wow this is great
I was thinking the same thing.
Saw them in the late 90s twice. the second time they were on a double bill with Tar...hooowheee
Can’t wait to see them again this year

greetings from Ukraine!
jay needs a strap lock! :) great shot, good sound and fresh energy of my very favourite band, thanks!
Duct tape was the strap lock of the eighties/nineties..
how was no one there??
