you wake up and you see that you're alone. you look to see if your parents are home, you see if some of your friends are online... but none of them are there, you wait and wait until you realize that they are not coming back. you are hopeless and go to the streets to see if someone still there, you look around and dont listen to nothing the silence is so loud that is uncomfortable, you keep walking a lonely road until you see a kid
that kid is you. a younger version of you, you run at him and hug him, you start crying and says
"i'm sorry for not being the person that you always wanted to be, i'm sorry for not letting our dreams come true"
and then your younger version smiles at you and says
"dont blame yourself now"
everything starts to become white, its like a bright light is coming, you smiles too and then says your last words

Ithis one is reaching out from the depths of a place I can’t remember, just beckoning me to come home
this song truly makes me want to cry. I had my childhood ripped from me, and I had to move away. I never got to see my friends graduate and now I'll never get the chance to see almost all of them again. I had that stolen from me by my step-mother. Because of her cruelty, I was forced to become the adult in two households at the age of 14.
Listening to this is like looking back at the before times. Before my father was diagnosed. Before he changed. Before I was afraid of everyone. It's knowing everything I know now as I watch my younger self run around my front yard without a care in the world. It's seeing how I was genuinely happy. I thought the world was pure and good.
It's both nostalgic and forboding. Like it will get worse now that it has gotten better. But someday hopefully I will look back at today and think the same thing.
I can only hope as I move forward. That is all I can do as I walk through quicksand, struggling with each step to not fall deeper into the pit. Waiting for a rope to pull me above. For all this anger and overwhelming hurt to stop.

My very sick dog and I watched the sunset together with him laying beside me and as the sun faded away he passed away 3 minutes after the sun set.. goodbye Axel he was 5 years old 😭
