The polish people were the first and only ones to climb the world's highest peaks in North Pakistan back in 1970's and those people were given the title of "Ice warriors" coz of their daredevil adventure sandwiched between glaciers and yeah they're still carrying on as we've a lot of polish tourists coming in millions. Infact, the person who put Pakistan on the tourism list is also a polish youtuber named 'Eva Zu Beck' and now Pakistan stands in top 5 for the best tourist destination in the world. I don't know anyone from Poland or haven't visited the country but still tons of love to you people we really owe polish people a big time ❤️❤️
Another piece of interesting history is that Polish pilots helped in developing the PAF (Pakistan Air Force). 30 all together joined it after WW2, and Turowicz was given the title of Air Commodre. In 1965 during the India Pakistan war he helped to defend the sky above Lahore, when he died he was given full military honours by the Pakistani army. Peace ✌️

Amazing country. Since 2018 I've been to Cracow twice and then Wrocław, Gdansk and Torun. Poland is heavily underrated, which is such a shame since I know a lot of Danes who asks "what the f*ck are you gonna do in Poland?" They don't know what they're missing. We tour parts of Poland every year in our camper as well as stay with friends in Jerzmanowice for two weeks. You are lucky to live in such a beautiful country, a place that has everything, mountains, the sea, lake district, countryside amazing cities and wonderful warm people. You have shown me on here there are places for us yet to visit, thank you.

My son is a combat medic in the u.s. army. He is currently stationed in poland. I was in the u.s. navy and served w/ 7th fleet pacific. Wish i was there w/ him.
