"Traditionally"? That's funny. Traditionally it is written in Japanese kanji or hiragana, not Roman alphabet. It might sound more like "oss" to our ears, but the correct romanization of the original Japanese spelling is "Osu". I think I should know this, because I've lived in Japan and trained in Kyokushin here for over ten years. OSU!

@pastropmal sosai spoke to japanese branch chief(shibucho).'among all the fighting arts,karate is the strongest of all,and kyokushin is the no.1 strongest karate.!' that was sosai belief until he passed away.
OSU! I have a question what is the purpose of practicing in stance like that at 2:30 and about 2:40. I see a lot of karateka do it and maybe only see application of it if someone attacks you and you dont have time for a guard or does it build something else cuz at my dojo we never did it just wondering.

I have a question throughout Kyokushin I have not seen any kicks with the blade of the foot? *Sidekicks. Why that is my favorite kick.
