Man oh man, Glen was great. We have his songs...but when he died, I cried. 2017 he left us, then Bobby Bare and Charley Pride in 2020. Death is an awful curse. Glens music will live forever and ever.

His first album was one of my first purchases as a teen with my own money...still love his music after all these years. This is real talent and real entertainment and a far cry from what some of the country singers churn out now.

Judith...Oh yes! I say Glen is my favorite singer in all my many decades of life...he is something like I never saw. He sang pop, country, all kinds of music and I loved and play all my DVD'S of him all the time. I weep at times, knowing he will not walk out with that genuine affableness and his guitar genius...and everyone who knew him/his family, they say he is always who you saw and heard. No ego problem with Glen. Who could not love this man and his astounding music?

we were sitting in a pub with a friend, and Freddie Mercury was singing there on TV, and one guy at the next table was saying, "That was the voice." A friend replied, it was, but not like Glen Campbell. I could listen to that from morning till night.

I love Glen Campbell and am in awe of his incredible talent. Since his passing, I have scoured RUclips so I could enjoy his music and learn more about his life. I have tremendously enjoyed his recordings and performances, but this one was a dud for me. He didn't seem like his authentic self. I didn't care for much of the phrasing, especially "Galveston." His eyes looked empty. He didn't seem to have that connection with the audience that he always does. This was the first time I've seen him perform where it looked like a job and instead of his passion.
I still love him and always will. There will never be a day without Glen Campbell music in my house, but I won't be viewing this concert again. It left me feeling sad.

i agree there was something in the eyes, and the boy and the ringing tone had gone,i think it was the drugs, i read somewhere, that an artist can cheat on his talent, i think this was the beginning of that, but like you i will always love the guy, im glad i lived in the time of Glen Campbell for me the greatest of all time.

    • @OllieOverTheMoon

Glen looks exhausted, but the show must go on. I've been a fan since GC Goodtime Hour and if I has a dollar for every concert this man has done... and not a bad note ever. Personally I enjoyed the phraseology of the tunes and his playing - he never sang or played his songs the same way twice. I think if you listen, without the video, you'll agree that 99.9% would never guess that he wasn't well during this taping. His work ethic and God given awesome talent never left him. He may be missing that brilliant sparkle that we long time fans know and love, but this concert proves that even on a 'bad day' he could sing and play like no other. There will never be another like him.

Yikes, you can tell these were his bad days, you can just tell in his face and mannerisms, and he got the first dang line of By The Time I Get To Phoenix wrong... Something was definitely up...
It's a shame, you can see how good he is even completely messed up like this, imagine how good it could've been had he been as healthy as he could've been, but whaddya gonna do!
