Gem Contour 2 Shave

Thanks for joining me for another shave. today shave I use the gem Contour 2 that I got off of eBay New Old Stock. I found it mild but very efficient. It's a shame that this was the last of the gem razors. Thanks for watching, take care and happy shaves!

Hey Chris! I was going to indicate to you that the Contour II shaves just like a Gem Featherweight and bingo!, you go and say it just as I was about to write!!😅😅 It's actually a very nice shave, especially if you only have a one day's growth. I learned to really like these Gem razors! That's why I purchased almost all of the different models. One day, people will realize how good they shave and the prices will go up as soon as the demand increases. Nice score on acquiring 2 of them! Thanks for the video! JimG

Chris I can you only saw you all in US you living in a wet shaving paradise. When I go on eBay, Etsy or the most retailer or seller are in US and the price from the product are okay but the shipping costs. And this is not all our fucking friendly customers they want money to. I found a micromatic around 18$ very good condition, 40$ shipping costs, between 30-50$ for custom's. Fantastic.

It's ridiculous the shipping should cost that much there's no reason for it. I've been thinking about you, don't you have to pay a vat tax when people send you packages?

@@CDinVT It's ridiculous but it is so. I have one found there were the shipping costs I think free, but the condition was not good at all and the price was higher. If you have some internet adress who shipping to Croatia for better condition, I would you be very thankful. This tax what you write I think that's the same as what I say with the costumes.
Until this year I have never paid for that, but this year our Government has charged the Laws. And we have to pay for all Shipments who coming. And depends on the price of the product! I think 10-15% from the price, I'm not sure but I think it was so at the two package what I got from US.

@@CDinVT I think it was Gen 1 gold-plated but I'm not an expert. Like the one what you got from Mike Stubble meets steel.

@RobertsClassicShave I don't have any extra, I also don't know of any gen 1 micromatics at any local antique shops. I would recommend you try to find the most Mint Condition you can to justify the ridiculous shipping price.
