- When 60 Minutes met Travis Pastrana in 2010, he had already endured 25 concussions and shattered various bones in his body 29 times. Yet, there was no stopping this motorsport athlete and stunt performer. He is now in his 40s and shows no signs of giving up his life on the edge.

What you are about to see is flat-out crazy, a guy throwing himself out of a plane five thousand feet up, without a parachute. Travis Pastrana makes a living coming up with new and ever more bizarre ways to risk his life. And he has a posse of daredevil mates who've tagged along for the ride. They call themselves the Nitro Circus. It's not the kind of circus that any sane person would want to run away to. Michael Usher's got the bumps and bruises to prove it. And just a word of warning - don't try this at home.

Travis Jumping off the pier at x games on his motorcycle was one of the coolest things I had seen up to that point. Earlier in the show i was saying it would be so cool if someone did it then Travis did and have been a fan ever since.
Fox paid for that jump and no way would ca allow that to happen today, but it’s okay to use the street as a toilet. Travis sold out to BRCC, they are against civilians owning rifles and armor, donate to the left and are for gun control.

And at the hip allowing me to walk with the assistance of a hemi walker used for one side paralysis wheee there’s a will,there’s a way!
Almost exactly the same situation with me. Aneurysm burst, small stroke. Afterwards my left side didn't want to function. I started going to the gym. First on a walker, then a cane and now walking in. I work my left leg every day so I won't lose mobility. I'm so grateful to the surgeon who saved my life!
Travis is the best. And not all his fans are young. I'm 45 and I've watched him since the early 90s
I raced behind Travis, has been a great role model for kids. He stays clean, doesn’t act fake, no excessive tattoos but I’ve turned my back on him after he took the BRCC sponsorship. BRCC isn’t for Americans and the second amendment.

Travis is one of my son’s Best friends! They rode Motocross together before Travis embarked upon doing these dangerous tricks on his bike but he’s The Best at it & it’s his passion !!

Here in the USA we know these things are dangerous, but it's what Travis has always wanted to do, and he would probably be unhappy otherwise. I mean I'm never going to do stunts that big, and that's the end of that 😂

2-time Mount Washington Hill Climb winner: 2017, 2021.
11-time X Games Gold medalist (None for rallycross but 2 for rally in 2008; 2006)
17 total X Games medals (11 gold, 4 silver, two bronze)
