I came from Overwatch 2 to this game. I was pretty good at it too. I am so bad at Strinova though! Your video really helped me and gave me a perspective. Thank you so much!
7:08 Bro, this happened too many times to me when I queued up with my buddy. When I see them alone, I quickly rush to them to help thinking that I should help them no matter what and just sacrifice myself for nothing because they actually fall back and survive. My mindset approaching the games shifted based on if I soloq or teaming up. When playing with a friend or two, I always jump in the fire while neglecting my own condition and thus affecting my decision making. But I actually doing fine when soloq because I prioritize myself and try to help the team as much as possible and don't rush for something that's beyond saveable
That's right. I always have this issue since in most games I play as the entry if I am solo queuing, so what I like to do is to assess how well my team can perform individually. If my team seems more than capable of winning their own fights, I just make space for them as the entry fragger. If not, I play for my own life.
I need to learn how to actually review my own vods for a game like this. I come from fighting games where I can pick out my mistakes and opportunities to punish, but tac shooters are still foreign to me. More of this kind of stuff is what I've been looking for
i have some question abt this game how to att. 1. which role should hold the bomb? 2. do duelist are always goes first to the bomb site? 3. i saw a lot of ppl saying we should stick to our team but do u know when is to flank? or should we not flank at all? i came from league, so im a bit clueless abt tactical shooter.
1. Characters who have less utility / can use all their utility before entering the site / not snipers (fragrans, celestia, lawine) the only exception to this is Meredith who can be the bomb holder because her awaken 3 and ult can cover herself during plant. If you don't have any of these 4 agents on your team (like in my video) then well... anyone i guess 2. It's not always clear - it depends on the situation, and it is not just the bombsite. But in general yes, the duelist (Ming, Fuchsia, Eika, Baimo) should entry. Obviously Eika and Baimo are only good if the sightlines are shorter and within their effective range (for entrying). 3. It depends on your team comp. If you rush a site fast enough, it will be a 5v3 or worse for the enemy team, so you have the upper hand. But if the enemy team is very good at holding down a site, it is better to default (spread out across the map and play for picks). In every tactical shooter, information is king. So by defaulting, you gather information like how many people are at A/B, etc, then you know which site is weaker and easier to enter. This opens up opportunity to flank/lurk if you are mid and you have 3 teammates going A for example, and you could easily catch an opponent off guard and get value. But lurking is very high risk and requires good game sense to be done effectively or it would be no different to baiting your team. One thing to remember is that it is almost NEVER a good idea to 5 man enter a site from 1 singular chokepoint. Always look to split members across multiple entry points. Basically, you can think of the lurker role as like a ganking jungler - staying off-vision until you can guarantee a kill or create a favourable teamfight.
@@strinariii thanks for the thorough explanation! also, when is the right time to rotate? cus i sometimes trapped in a dilemma whether i should rotate or no. sometimes when the enemy holding the site, its like 50:50. sometines we can force our way through and plant but sometimes, we just got stopped right away. (sorry for saying this too late but thanks for the video and i will wait for the maddy guide too. i hope u have fun on making this video cus i love this game)
In a perfect world, you would see 3-4 people on site A -> leave 1 guy to bait shots and rest rotate to B AS FAST AS POSSIBLE - then the last guy baiting can late rotate and lurk (e.g. at mid, slowing the rotate as much as possible). However in reality you won't have perfect info on the enemy right? So it's always going to be somewhat of a gamble. So you can choose to stay completely quiet for maybe 20+ seconds and continue hitting A after (hoping that the enemy rotated) or do the rotate as mentioned in the previous paragraph. Things to consider: 1. Has the defenders used a lot of utility already? NO: bait out more utility before deciding. YES: do the rotate or quiet strat. 2. Have you damaged the defenders at all? NO: rotate. YES: choose either strat. 3. Who is on the site? AUDREY, KOKONA,MICHELE (if turrets not broken yet): ROTATE! No heavy anchors: Better to rush in. 4. What ults do they have? This has no clear-cut answer, but if the anchor has zoning ults (nobunaga, maddelena, michele, yvette) its better to bait them out instead of rushing in and cornering yourself in their ult Basically, think of rotating as sneaking baron. Enemy jungler split pushing bot? Enemy sup dead? Can your support get vision around the river? No wards in pit? GO. No matter the game, if you have a mental checklist of what to look out for - the objective can always be yours.
i don't wanna be mean but i can break the whole game down in order for you to know cause after look at your whole video on 404 . I can FOR SURE say you are playing ming very wrong.
Really good video, everything explained well and I'd love to watch more

Now I just need to aim correctly as Ming
I would love to see a support or zoner on the attacking side, specifically Meredith.
will do!

Exactly! I felt like the Nobunaga could have had way more impact.
