41:10 "Swiggity-swoot, play the floot. Turn this barbarian into a broot"
flute*
Brute*
34:50 Callum: Anyways I was polishing my flute in the corner...
I cant believe Billie's invisibility cloak worked so well this week.
"I think I could probably take matt mercer in a fight, but I don't think that's how the law settles things" killed me XD
"you can start from any episode and its fine!"
*proceeds to watch full playlist anyway*
and im sure many others here will do the same XD
I found this from the clip channel, this is gold, I liked DnD stories but this is the first time I decide to watch a DnD session. Fucking gold.
SAME! I Have long been interested in D&D but Critical Role was already balls deep in campaigns so I was too overwhelmed to do much more digging!
@@Tayl0r_ I was pretty much the same, Critical role too intimidating but I just got back to watching these sessions this week and they're still great, on the note of Critical role though, check out Legend of Vox Machina, one of their campaigns made into a TV show it's brilliant.
@@tjsmith8348 Thank you so much!!!
Josh is already a gigachad but he DMs as well AND he’s good and incredibly fun about it?
I’m so glad I discovered Josh and now this group 😊
I genuinely love Callum's bard lmao. Donovan is so good lololol.
Rage wanted to be swindled, if she was looking for non-alcoholic moonshine. XD
This is DARK.
I'm hooked. And I feel sad for Timmy
This is so extremely funny I'm laughing so hard it hurts. This is little Timmy's Joker origin story😂
Shoot, flute, and brute: the 3 words needed for good time
Finished binging all of Josh' back catalogue on Hayes, Plays, Says and Replays, so here I am :D
Holy fuck josh, you can be extremely morbid. This is absolute fun, and i have never ever even played DnD.
Found this from the Oxventure one shot. Looks like a lot of fun.
I am dying of laughter right now, I will never forget this birthday party. Find strength, Timmy.
The apples bit had me dying. so glad i discovered Josh, Callum and the rest of the group!
This's one hella starter episode and established both players characteristics beautifully! Thx for uploading the vod
I haven't laughed this hard and loud for the longest time, thank you 🤣❤
I didn't know I needed this in my life so much.
Normally the “the players are actually the bad guys” plot is reserved for AFTER most of the game has happened.
I loved every second of this. I laughed harder than I have in ages, I gasped, and just had a great time. The chemistry between all of you was amazing, and I can't wait to enjoy the rest of these as I grind in OSRS or play some Monster Hunter.
Love it! 🤘🏻😍
third!
I was wondering why there was nothing anymore on Tangent Tavern and only now found this channel. Got a lot to catch up on now 😇
What a powerful lineup of people, perfect for my second monitor!
That got morbid at the end...and yesh that kid is going to be a baddie
This was absolutely phenomenal
I've never been so ashamed of myself for laughing so hard...
The barrel incident omg xD
This is gonna be epic.
That's was basically white phosphorus scene from spec ops the line
I love it!
Absolutly brilliant - probably the best thing on youtube. Is there a patreon, or anything similar for donations / support?
i were laughing every moment
Best game ever
No idea why people haven't picked up on the chat remark: "Britical Role" that shit's on point!!
//EDIT: Ah, ok it was but legal issues. Man we can't have anything fun...
The irony of your intro, to your update video from the other day, progress!
this is genius
Love the fucked up gory details. Having just watched quite a few episodes of the current season of The Boys definitely been immersed in over-the-top violence and gore so this compliments that well.
So good xD
finally found this!
So the first thing the heroes do on their adventure is reenact the end of the village raid scene from The Northman lol
Just found this channel. Awesome content. Look at how much fun they're having! WHY is there no co-op mega-RPG that lets a group of friends live in a fantasy world and adventure together. There needs to be. And the level of character creation seen here just does not exist in video games. Joseph didn't tell them they're the Dragonborn or the Grand Inquisitor, they just get to be a brute and a bard chilling in a tavern.
it's probably almost impossible to implement the amount of creative freedom DnD provides in a videogame.
@@meirfa Right, a game can't think like a person can, necessarily. But with enough systems in place we can get the illusion that the game is thinkibg. The Skyrim mod "live another life" at least is a step in the right direction in choosing who you are rather than being forced into being a pre-written character or chosen one. Now imagine the game was built with co-op in mind and the devs put more emphasis on party-based quests, and each player had the world/characters reacting to them. The Fable games had some interesting features in terms of NPCs reacting to your actions and appearance. And games like Fallout New Vegas have systems in place where factions and NPCs keep track of their opinions about you. And just like how Josh says "roll a D20" to see how an NPC reacts to something, a video game could have a similar mechanic. (I've been playing Baldur's Gate 3 and it tries to implement dice rolling sometimes).
I think if the right devs sat down they could make this a reality. So many RPGs have shown bits and pieces of what is capable, and the right studio could arrange those puzzle pieces in just the right way to make an immersive and adaptive experience with lots of possibilities.
The voice actor for this campaign is basically just Divinity : Original Sins
1:01:34
britical role got me here.
Poor Timmy
Cool
Uuuuh, new funny second monitor content! 😁😁
Josh mentioning Supernatural made my day.
Wait your a dm as well? I love your videos but damn I already know this is gonna be grade A campaign.
I mean technically, the players didn't choose violence. The DM chose to light the tavern on fire on a moderately bad roll (wasn't even a critical failure or anything), so the argument about the horrors of violence being about consequences feels a bit disingenuous... although I do agree with the sentiment in general
The players are merely an instrument for the DMs evil plans...
Second…!
This looks very interesting. However, the fact that episodes 18 and 19 are missing means I will not watch it.
First :)
Really?? It took you that long to throw that layout together?? It isn't that involved... You can hire me... my rates are reasonable... lol
