Wait to see how lit washes and dries. Putting it in the drier to finish up often helps fluff up the yarn. BTW, i haven't used that specific yarn but other yarns I have used have softened after W&D

I’m half Yay & half Meh right now. I have 5 WIPs that are for others to finish by month’s end. Which I love crocheting for others, just a couple of them not enjoying yarn choices.
So I decided today that August (my birthday month), I am only going to crochet for myself with various yarns in my stash I’ve been wanting to use!

On the MJ sweaters, she likes to do blocking when she is done. In the past, I don't do blocking of my work. Things seem to wear well and look good without it. I have seen the MJ sweaters you have made in the past. Do/Did you block them when your make or have made her patterns before or even Kelly's (Craft and a Cuppa), I know you like her hexicardi sweaters? I'm a big fan of Kelly's patterns. I enjoyed seeing your version of the Big Twist pick and mix sweater. I think her first version was a fingering weight. Here in Cleveland with our cold snow winters lol, except the past two, I tend to at least do 3 wgt or 4 wgt yarns.

Absolutely Love that pillow… I’ve made 2 pillows with 4 different panels to coordinate with a blanket I made for my bedroom. Now I want to make another pillow with the pony beads…that is so gorgeous!!! I’ve made so many wearables this year for spring and summer…mostly tops!!! I set a goal this spring to make a dress…I’ve completed the first panel…now making the 2nd…then need to join them together to complete…so excited to wear once it’s finished!!! I just go a coupon from DSW(Designer shoe warehouse) and I will likely buy something to coordinate with my dress!!! That verse is so extremely important right now with how the country is so divided and all that’s going on. It’s important to keep it our focus on GOD…further confirmation is Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” We get a daily renewal by seeking GOD and reading is word for guidance prayerfully allowing us not to be transformed by the things going on in the world today. Stay safe and be blessed ❤ Praying that you have another blessed and wonderful school year as you continue to guide our future generations!!!❤
