My mother was a radical feminist. I swung the pendulum in the other direction and stayed home raising my kids, who all turned out amazing good citizens and believers. My peers are mostly dead, addicted or miserable. I am happy and content and now reaping the benefits of my grown children and greandchildren. No corporation or career can give you that.

Not every woman can afford to stay home and raise their children because in the economy today it takes both parents income to survive. I would have loved to have been able to stay home to raise my children, but I had to work as well as my husband. Until I became permanently disabled.
@@Tmiller77 I worked since I was 16 then got married at 23, stayed home and had 4 kids. Then went back to work as a single parent at 34 because of two failed marriages due to their adultery and physical abuse. My kids grew up confident and good workers. We are all born again thanks to God's mercy and loving kindness. It can be done if the woman is not scared but steps up.
Christ Jesus said: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
For it is my Father's will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day.
Thank you Jesus for the gift of this pastor speaking biblical truth! I pray we have more pastors like him to bring glory to God.

Submitting to God teaches wives to submit to their husbands. Submitting to your husband pleases God, for sure; however, submission to him is one thing, and submission to Him is on a whole other level. Wife, submit to your husband as unto God.

@InfoArtistJKatTheGoodInfoCafe I do like the sound of my own voice, never more so than when I'm praising my Heavenly Father. By the way, He already gave me my new name when I shed my grave clothes. Check that critical spirit because it is not of God. If you want to correct someone, do it in love.
My wife was raised in what I will call a Christian home, but the parents did what they wanted to not live by what the Bible says; they did almost everything opposite the teachings of Jesus Christ. My wife, like her mother, is in total rebellion. At nearly 35 years of marriage, she left me not for someone else but not wanting to submit. We are not young folks; we are both in our 70s. She is 76, and I'm 72. I am doing okay. Jesus Christ has given me something to do in the meantime: back to online classes for a degree in Christian Counseling - an MA degree. Prayers are needed, thank you.

I love how voddie addresses current cultural and political issues. It’s hard to navigate through all the craziness and his biblical response to current popular culture is exactly what Christians need

I was in a bad place spiritually when I found this man. I was tired of church’s submitting to the world instead of God and it helped me to hear real preacher that stands for God not the world.

That is exactly what I have been saying. Not only are we at war but we are at war on all fronts. Satan knows his time is short. Stay strong brothers and sisters in faith.

It is easy for wives to submit to a man who submits to Christ- she knows she is safe and he will be her protector: the problem occurs when she is expected to submit when he does not- because she knows if her husband is not under the authority of Christ she is not safe. Abuse is a difficult thing to submit to and has given fodder to the feminist movement, because unfortunately many men who have declared themselves Christian have been abusive husbands, not Christ like husbands. Husbands need to remember when they are emotionally, physically, spiritually or otherwise abusive to their wives they are then being used by Satan to wage his war against women ( Genesis - enmity between Satan and the woman). Just a reminder. 🙏
Wow🤯 Best comment. I was thinking this same thing but couldn't articulate. When we know the man is submitted to the Lord, it's a safe place for us. There's rest and sense of ease. I feel like when the man is being used by satan, or isn't fulfilling his role as husband, we step up and do everything in the relationship. Not that we want to but bcuz we CAN. The Lord made us ladies so resourceful and smart that there's almost nothing we can't do. So when that husband is not operating in the power of God, we realize we gotta do something and so resentment and bitterness sets in bcuz we're not asking and begging him to do what needs to be done. He thinks we're stepping outside our boundaries as women. So I agree with your comment. God said "Let all things be done decently and in order." When God is involved everything is in order. I protect with my life my beloved and betrothed wife.
She feels safe with me at all times and loves me as she does Christ. And I love her as Christ loves the church (or in this day & age the remnant of the church which is Christ's body).
Therefore she makes us the best dinners I've ever had!

@@cl5193 Calvinists believe that, at the beginning of time, God selected a limited number of souls to grant salvation and there's nothing any individual person can do during their mortal life to alter their eternal fate. Either you were chosen or you were not chosen, and that's all there is to it. The Bible says in John 3 : 16 For God so loved the World that he gave his only Son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
I'm going to keep teaching the Church is a reflection of the love of Christ in A marriage 🙏🏽. Our kids will not be in a war that is unnecessary due to the times we are in,which is not beneficial to life,or Christ 🙏.

I like the music it's calming
When I was younger I looked at this scripture as a safety net for women. It doesn't promote that women be submissive to men in general. It was the protective institution that God ordered for the family unit as a whole.

Unfortunately, Christian women don't accept the teaching of submitting to their husbands. Some seem to think that the Bible also says that husbands are to submit to their wives. I haven't found that Scripture yet.
If husbands would
Love and treat their wives like Christ lives and treats the church.
Then a woman is more apt to submit and respect her husband.
Neither’s behavior should hinge on the other doing it first. If you follow Christ, DO EXACTLY AS THE WORD SAYS, PERIOD!
HUMILITY was the hallmark of Jesus's earthly life. As believers in Jesus Christ we submit ourselves to one another as slaves of God. As Peter wrote, "Clothes yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5-6)." Philippians 2:5-11 gives the blueprint of Jesus's progressive HUMILITY which eventually led to God the Father highly exalting him for all eternity. The Creator (Colossians 1:15-17, Hebrews 1:13) HUMBLED HIMSELF and came down from heaven to embody earthly flesh, his creation, in order that we might be saved through him (John 3:16-17). Jesus is 💯 God AND 💯 man, the Godman! There is no one like him, the only mediator between God and mankind (1 Timothy 2:5-6). Following Christ's example, WE ARE ALL COMMANDED TO HUMBLE OURSELVES to one another, especially along the categories that the enemy has used to divide us and bring hatred (rich/poor, parent/child, husband/wife, master/slave, government/citizen, ethnic, etc.). HUMILITY and LOVING ONE ANOTHER are inextricably linked.

Verses were written in their order for a reason FIRST ...it says Husbands love your Wife...THEN it says Wifes submit (TO A LOVING HUSBAND) Adam was created FIRST for a reason...He is a leader of his home for a reason. It STARTS WITH HUSBANDS ...once he leads the home in Love...then the Wife can should and most of the time will submit. Submition to any other spirit coming from her Husband (lust, pride, arrogance) is satanic and not of God. Wives are a helpmate. Its not helpful to a Husband to submit to his porn and lustful fantasies or to his raging anger. To actually help him that sin needs to be called out, not submitted to.

Pastor Baucham you have preached many informative and thoughtful provoking sermons. But you have not obeyed Acts 2:38 as Cornelius did in Acts 10. He was devout but still not saved. His good deeds only went up as a memorial not as salvation.
