1. Bigbang is one of the first group to popularize writing and producing their own music. G-Dragon is the first idol to do it and after that agencies started giving their idols chance to do it
2. Bigbang is the first one to have official light stick. The first official light stick was designed by G- dragon himself. Since then all fandoms followed it and now everyone K-POP idol has their own light stick
3. T.O.P is the first underground rapper turned idol in Kpop
4. Bigbang introduced the concept of mini albums to the Kpop industry
5. First Kpop group to win an international award. In 2011, they won MTV EMA. They beat Britney Spears that day.
6. First Kpop group to collaborate with international artist
7. Bigbang is the first boy group that popularize dyeing hairs in bright and unusual colors.
