I don't have any pro shops in my area that are open full time. My bowling centers near me only work 4 hours a day and it's always during the late afternoon to evening. It's so frustrating for someone with my schedule. I'd love to be able to walk into my local Proshop at 9am M-F but all the alleys near me are only open 4p-8p. None of the proshops in my area offer radical balls for sale . Which is fine I can find great deals on Ebay but from what I've seen Radical makes some nice looking balls on the lanes.
I would want to get signed by a company because it would be nice to have a company back me while I chase my dream. It just gives you even more motivation to improve knowing people like you and want you to succeed. Not to mention, bowling is a hard sport to enter if you’re not well off financially and any amount of help in that regards makes it that much easier to enter tournaments and enter leagues, and those things make you better. Tbh tournaments and leagues cost more than the bowling balls 😂
I'm curious what percentage of people who end up on staff end up on staff because they asked to be, vs what percentage of them ended up being asked or invited to be on staff? I guess what I'm getting at is, if you're asking the question you probably aren't going to be on staff because they'd more than likely already have found you and approached you. Very interested to better understand that.
