The Pálházi State Forest Railway is a small railway in Hungary in the Zemplén Mountains. Small Railway Day is the third Saturday in August and is operated by Északerdő Zrt. The Pálházi State Forest Railway is Hungary's oldest small forest railway. Originally, as its old name suggests, it was a "horse-powered roller coaster". Count István Károlyi initiated its construction in 1888.
