Thats Omurice its a Japanese dish Chef Moto Kichi who operates a restaurant in Japan is one of many that offer the dish of which I forgot the name of (sorry) it traditionally is then smothered in a demi glaze or ketchup.
The brown gravy is actually a sauce called Demi glaze which is a little sweet. Sometimes you might get it with ketchup or Japanese mayo. It’s pretty good

Instead of using ketchup as a sauce, he used demi glace as a substitute. Apart from Omurice he does make a fuckin good ass ox tongue stew. @@ReesersPiecers literally any chef in japan can make omurice, and its a popular kids dish which a lot of japanese parents know how to cook. titling the video "The end looks INSANE" makes it sound like its something you dont normally see. i and probably many others have seen a million videos of omurice being prepared by now

Thats Omurice its a Japanese dish Chef Moto Kichi who operates a restaurant in Japan is one of many that offer the dish of which I forgot the name of (sorry) it traditionally is then smothered in a demi glaze or ketchup.
The brown gravy is actually a sauce called Demi glaze which is a little sweet. Sometimes you might get it with ketchup or Japanese mayo. It’s pretty good

However Motokichi had a style.
Instead of using ketchup as a sauce, he used demi glace as a substitute.
Apart from Omurice he does make a fuckin good ass ox tongue stew.
Kichi-Kichi opened a restaurant because he was fascinated by western cuisine.
And as a fact, Japanese people (not all, but some do) love ketchup.
