if you are curious about decware, by an amp now, and then forget about it for a couple of years. if you don't care for it, you can always sell it for more than you paid. there is no finer sounding gear for less than 4 - 5 times the price, they are that good. i have a "Rachel" paired with Harbeth C7s and the combo is sublime.
the AP 45rpm of Soul Samba is criminally underrated. Ike's best IMHO. Such beautiful and lush tones from Sir Quebec. Been long gone from Acoustic Sounds for years and fetching near $200 on Discogs. Just recently got the Vespertine vinyl, myself. All time fave of our Icelandic Queen. Glad to see this update to your system. Patience is rewarded. Happy Holiday spinning!
Good things come to those whom wait, and it looks Amazing with the wood case !!! Congrats Bob! My Brother got me a "Minty" 77 Stones Sticky Fingers in Jeffersonville Indiana yesterday with working Zipper!! i sawa copy at River City Record show a week ago for 100 bucks in VG condition at best. He picked this one up for 30 bucks too! Very Grateful This Christmas for all the Blessings i had never heard of the place, hes open a couple hours a week i think. Ring any Bells? Happy Hollidays Folks
Great review Brad, thank you, and belated Merry Christmas to you and yours 🎉 I’m currently in the Decware queue for a Zen Mystery amp, 18 months to go!
Heh. Andrew Robinson has given one of their amps a glowing review to the UFO2. Just dang. I was never a tube fan and always went for wattage (Topping out at 600 bi-amped watts per channel into ESS AMT 1B monitors back in the late 70's). But I'm old now and, frankly, more into "nuanced" music. Think the jazz you always rave about or the one I just listened to yesterday, Ricki Lee Jones with killer band and arrangements. I wear hearing aids now because I played bass next to loud drummers for too long, but if I didn't, I'd be springing for one of these with a nice pair of sensitive speakers. And even with the bad ears, I'm sure the clarity would still be noticeable. BTW, I broke the bulb in one of my lava lamps at one of our gigs last week. Those suckers are getting harder to find. But nice video. We still need to get together one of these days... Robinson's video: ruclips.net/video/FhaM_fUaijY/видео.html
The two pieces of gear that my eye always go to in your rack are that Thorens TT and that Dynaco Pre. I built my own Dynaco 400 and Pat-5 back in 1973, right out of high school. Wish I'd kept them. And the thorens is the TT equivalent of a Porsche 550 Spyder, IMO. Regarding your amp, if it were not for the fact that I now wear hearing aids, I'd probably be drooling over that thing. However, when I sold hi-fi back in the 1976-1983 timeframe, I was very much against tube amps. Not because I thought they were bad, but because I thought they were way over priced. And it was frustrating to see people want to opt for expensive tube amps and pre's while skimping on speakers, where things REALLY matter. Also, a lot of the really good speakers at that time were fairly ineficient, so you needed power. That's why I used my Dynaco to power ADL L810's. And then there are magnapans, Dalquist, etc. But the boutique tube amps available today are just too cool. Though, truth be told, they are still a bit pricey for my taste. But again, my ears are no longer that discerning. I'll say this: I no longer care about tape hiss.🤣
Hi Bob - My Christmas 🎄 present to myself , The Atlantic 75th anniversary of Atlantic edition of The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway arrived last Friday & I'm loving the work they did. It was always a bit poorly Produced initially so it's remarkable the clarity of this press .
What's speakers are you using ? :-) Two years, that's fine. My Fusion amp , made by hand , took me 3 months. Another good US company is Quicksilver ( in Bolder CO ? ) Sometime, yes, they are back order. I got those big V4 mono - blocks amp from them. I will never get rid of them. They will got the my daughter when I die. ( hand made, they will last 100 years !!!!!)
@@BOBBRADLEYCHANNEL and subscribed and I remember tube gear I had great times but my tube guys who can repair them or get tubes are all gone from this earth.
I'm convinced after a Decware purchase myself that the best things in life take time. Being patient can be nerve racking for some of us, ➡me. Get one while you can is my advice for anyone who cherishes music or anyone who wants to give the gift of recorded music at its best to someone.
Thanks for the video Bob. I did have a question as I am a new vinyl lover. Why do you use 2 tube amps for 1 turntable? Or is it a preamp and something else?
I am thinking of getting one of these to run into my Rogue 66 magnum and on to the Decware zen amp. BUT, my cartridge is MC. How do you feel it will handle a Denon SUT in the chain?
Congrats Bob! I'm listening to my Decware Zen Triode Integrated right now.
Right on Jim! Merry Yuletides 🎅🏽

Great video Bob! Question, where did you acquire the furniture you have your turntable etc. on? Thanks and keep up the great videos!
Ah I think I got that from one of those mid century flea market type things. Cheers
@@BOBBRADLEYCHANNEL that’s rad! So hard to find a great, sturdy piece for a larger setup. Appreciate the reply! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Hey Bob, Merry Christmas brother! I have wanted a Decware for awhile now. Congrats nice choice.
Cheers, it’s a thing of beauty!
Your listening area is starting to look awfully nice. 😊
Santa brought me 4 nice audiophile records from Acoustic Sounds. Looking forward to the new year.
Sounds like you’ve mostly behaved Richard! Happy new year Sir!

Line is so long Felipe! Cheers my friend 🤙🏼
Thanks for the video Bob. I did have a question as I am a new vinyl lover. Why do you use 2 tube amps for 1 turntable? Or is it a preamp and something else?
They are mono amps one for the left channel and one for the right ✊🏼cheers!
I am thinking of getting one of these to run into my Rogue 66 magnum and on to the Decware zen amp. BUT, my cartridge is MC. How do you feel it will handle a Denon SUT in the chain?
If you’re going to run a MC you will need the step up transformer at an additional charge, but at that point I’d suspect it will be very nice.
Yo Bob, what is the model cue lever you have on your TD124?
Not sure, the dealers generally outfitted the tables so it’s whatever they had at the time I suppose 🤙🏼
2 years?! My God Bob you have the patience of Buddah. And it looks like patience paid off.
Congrats buddy.
Much appreciated!
Congratulations. Decware tube gear is supposed to be amazing.
...and Sea Change just happens be on my turntable now.
Sounds incredible! Much appreciated!
The first two minutes of this are unlistenable because of the high frequency tone in the background music that mirrors my own tinnitus.
