I know there are a lot of comments on chewing gum being inappropriate, but I do chew gum almost all the time, even during important events, like exams and doctor visits. I'm on a few medications for frequent migrains, so my mouth dries out pretty quickly if I have to talk for an extended amount of time. I'm also a type 1 diabetic with mild autonomic neuropathy, with mild gastroparesis (slow gastric emptying) and chewing gum stimulates gastric emptying after eating. This can stop a lot of uncomfortable symptoms from happening, like belching excessively (often smelly burps as well), acid reflux, low blood sugar from food not being absorbed fast enough after an insulin injection, and sometimes even vomiting if the gastroparesis is bad enough (or you're in a particularly bad episode). My point being, there might be a reason, and just tell the person you're interacting with that you're chewing gum for [so and so] reason and you're aware it might seem disrespectful. I've never had any negative reaction from it. Just don't go around smacking your lips and making chewing noises, and just try not to chew too much while facing them directly.
Lemonz1989 this is so weird because i never thought of chewing gum to solve my medication issue. i get a rare side effect from any adhd medication i’ve ever taken where i get a horrible taste in my mouth and it gets really dry, but i deal with it because the intended effect of the medication is more important. after reading your comment, i realized gum could probably solve this whole thing. thanks!
Jacquelynn Thomson Glad this info could be of use to you! Hope it helps. Just remember to chew sugar free gum, so to preserve your teeth. Sugar free gum also has the added benefit, in the case of dry mouth, to help keep you mouth and teeth healthy. :)
My neck , underarm and goin are darkened due to dermatitis , last month my glucose is 6.04 and after a week went down to 4.81. is this mean I have diabetes? It worries me and I can't sleep well or think well anymore
Times used to be very Challenging, I had the worst days of my life living with Diabetes, I appreciate you so much Dr Igudia, You have restored me my life that was lost already . Thank you so much for curing me of my diabetes with your natural Herbs
Some guys are like that. Guys generally have a huge variation in leg types. He's a big guy, but has narrow feet with a lot of arch. None of it is abnormal. We're lucky this guy was nice enough to subject himself to us gawking at him for medical info.
They seemed to have done a lot of these videos. I'm guessing the fella volunteered. Probably wanted his breath to smell ok having to be in each other's face all day.
this is more like a medical insurance exam: from the instructions given, the doctor must assume his patient is uncohoperative and unwilling to reveal a diabetes condition he knows exists. A white coat would also have been nice.
If only doctors actually had the time to perform such a thorough exam!
Well if you had diabetes they will
This is for exam purpose 😅

Lemonz1989 thank you!!
It's okay. But only if you chew with closed mouth. Otherwise that's pretty irritating

Y'all are too rude with this. Let people live and enjoy the instruction instead of nit-picking every single thing like you know better.

New pick up line
I hope he doesn't charge by the hour
The entire exam is only 1/5th of an hour.
@@thorr18BEM I guess you could say it was free then
Lol is excessive blinking a sign of diabetes?
Anyone notice the delayed response with his left eye at 3:00 ? Is that normal?
yeah just focusing his eyes, video yourself changing focus from long distance to something immediately in front of you - it looks really weird.
No
just a weird angle, his right eye is closer to the finger than the left eye, slow down and youll see it
Lid lag
He looks like harry potter with those green eyes!
👌👌
Chewing gum?

Il dottore si disinfetta le mani e il paziente cosa fa? Lo saluta dandogli la mano...🫢😂
No gloves 🧤
Cute patient
if you are actually at the doctor and he/she doesn't REALLY wash their hands, ask them to! bring your own hibiclens.
DIABEETUS!
Gordie Parenteau no.
