A lot of what you talked about is actually the inspiration for the song. It's atrue story based on him and his ex. They got together after his mom had passed away and he had fallen into alcoholism to cope. She was good to him but he needed alcohol to be happy and really messed up with her including cheating. But he owned the same 88 Ford Bronco as her dad, and they recorded music videos of them singing together in the back. She was also one of his biggest supporters of his early music just as it talks about him singing his songs to her. The more you get to learn about this guy, the deeper his song lyrics get to you and the harder they hit. His lyrics are super relatable

I appreciate the backstory on why you chose this song, there are some reactions to him out there but its slim, more people need to react to him i love him!
Between his amazing lyrics and the way he lets his voice break sometimes.. I find that I tear up on almost every song.
Was never a country fan.. but ZB made me one. Since discovering him, I've expanded my country horizons and I'm so happy.

Something in the orange has been my fave song for months and months. Still listen to it many times a day. His voice sounds like he’s crying with emotion. And his writing is incomparable….bar none.
If you like meaning within lyrics, Zach won’t disappoint. A thoughtful listen is East Side of Sorrow(on this album) or Billy Stay(on American heartbreak)

I got the opportunity to teach Reading to the 6th grade this past year. The District wanted me to introduce poetry to them. I tried to introduce musical lyrics...Hip Hop, Rap, anything...very few really understood. What you are doing would have been just the tool to help these students grasp what poetry is really about. You are an amazing man to be able to take apart this song and see it for what it is...poetry to music...life and struggles...I am amazed at how videographers can take what they are doing and teach people, sometimes kids, about life without cramming it down their throat. Life is about stopping, backing up, and trying again until you get what it is you are reaching for. Thank you.
