How Good is the Lenovo Tab M11? A Review of the Mid-Range Tablet with a 90Hz Display
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 12 июн 2024
- In this video, I review the Lenovo Tab M11 aka Lenovo Tab K11 in certain regions, a mid-range tablet that features an 11-inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Helio G88 processor, and at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. I also test the Lenovo Tab Pen, a stylus that supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, and the immersive reading mode, which lets you switch between chromatic and mono views. The Lenovo Tab M11 is a learning-focused tablet that comes with Android 13 and promises at least two major OS updates and security patches through January, 2028. Watch this video to find out if the Lenovo Tab M11 is worth buying. #lenovotabm11 #review #tablet #lenovotabk11

Just got my hands on the Lenovo Tab M11, and it's a game-changer having such a great battery life with Helio G88 SoC. The sleek design, powerful performance, and budget-friendly price tag make it the perfect daily companion.
Hey, I am considering it because it is the lowest price tablet I have seen with GPS. Have you by any chance used the GPS for maps in your car? Thanks

Thank you for this review. I am just waiting for my lenovo tab m11 to arrive. Looking forward to working with my studies with it. Glad i found your video.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed and hoping the tablet serves you well 👍
Hello there. How do you rate rhe performance of this tablet? Especially if the RAM is 4GB? I also wanna use it for note taking and perhaps watch some movies and stuff but mostly for note taking and studying those notes, what's your experience so far?
Also, if I put a screen protector on my, will the pen still work there?
I bought this tablet for my mother in law. There were basicly two options (in my region) within the budget of 200e and adequate specs and software/ security update support. I never buy anything that isn't supported for at least 4 years. Final decision was made between this and A9+. A9+ would have had better software optimization, but this one had the pen.
Thanks a lot man. That was realy what i need now.
Glad it was helpful for you 👍
Great review mate. Helped me decide to buy M11, cheers..👍😀
Hello. Glad to see your video. If my main for using it for my online tuition using zoom apps. Which is better between this m11 and honor pad x9?
The Helio G88 chip in the Lenovo Tab M11 sounds promising for casual gamers like me. Excited to see some reviews and benchmarks before it hits the US market.
Good video & great music @ the end.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it 👍
Thank you it just happened to see it and it attracts me as engineering student
Same, I want to use it for rc hibbeler ebook 😭 I'm tired bring around my heavy laptop.
@@yaya0775did you buy it? as a student, are you enjoying it?
Hi
How does the pen perform with a screen protector on
Thanks
Lenovo Tab M11 has got some good specs to be a good mid-range tablet. The 90Hz display is a good step and the Helio g88 is also a good choice for the tablet. Lenovo brings a clean UI too, which is a plus.
Amazing video brother, touched every point there is . Amazed watching from India ❤
Thank you 👍
Great review. Impressed with the quality for the price.
Thank you! Good value for money definitely!
So am I, so much so I'll be buying one this week (on the strength of this review) Thanks TTL!
Yeah me too actually. The Mediatek processor also looks to be a good deal in this range
Can anyone help me?? Why does the internet say this tablet isnt released yet but I saw this on sale in shopee
The Helio G88 in the Lenovo Tab M11 ensures lag-free multitasking and efficient everyday performance. Loving the user experience!
Hi, does the tablet have Office applications such as Word and Excel?
Ecosystem (Multi screen collaboration) support?
Hey man, Do you think think tablet should be fine for just autodesk skechbook or other sketching apps to make easy sketches? Im an architecture major student and just want something to draw quick skethces on without using sketching paper all the time.
Hey, I think it will be fine, the stylus works good with the tablet, maybe not the most accurate or responsive, but good enough to be able to work with it and get writing/sketching done, for me it was a joy to use the stylus and the 90Hz display helps with making things ‘smoother’
if you want to draw small things, the pen is not suitable in my opinion. Other devices have a much finer resolution.
The pen also has no button to quickly delete elements. There are probably other pens from Lenovo that are compatible with a button, but these also have to be purchased.
@@user-of3wz1sh2e which tablet wit active pen under 300eu would you then recommend? I was thinking of eather lenovo p11 2nd gen or the samsung s6 lite. Worth the extra 100euros for the little amount i would use it for?
@@basv4042I know that xppen has just released a tablet with a good stylus
Where can we buy pen tips compatiible with this pen
Hi! Lenovo Tab p11 2 gen or Lenovo Tab M11??
Is it capable to use a wireless charger?
Vi videos que tendria dos o tres actualizaciones de sistema 14 15 etc...es asi????
Great review, actually make me wanna buy this hehe.
Haha thank you, just trying to show people what you’d actually be dealing with. Glad you enjoyed 👍
I think the smooth 90Hz display rate and the astonishing helio chipset can be a great one for the level of performance for the users!!
Good review, what do you think is better, redmi pad se or Tab m11?
Thank you! That depends on your needs I guess, raw specs wise they are quite similar, with the Redmi pad SE having a slightly better chip with the Snapdragon 680 and a slightly bigger battery. But Lenovo tablets really shine in the productivity area so if that was your main use then I would go for the Lenovo (the M11 has dedicated stylus support whereas the Pad SE doesn’t), both tablets are good for their price
Lenovo M11 is better, the processor has newer cores.
Do you know if it rejects your hand while using the pen?@@aspfan9067
Will this tablet be good mainly for watching movies/series or will I find something better to watch for up to $200? I mainly care about the display and that it doesn't jam
Hi, if your main purpose is just to watch movies then there may be better and cheaper options, for example the HONOR Pad X9, which is around £40/£50 cheaper and has a display with higher refresh rate (120Hz) and is 0.5 inches bigger, I’ll be dropping a comparison video of them 2 tablets very soon so watch out for that 👍
Can you rest your hand on the screen while witing with the pen?
Hey, yes you can, I am resting my palm on the screen when using the stylus at 03:22 in the video 👍
@@typicaltechlad Thank You!
Don't you have problems opening facebook on fullscreen? It all works, settings in facebook app, or single groups show on fullscreen in landscape mode, but messenger app and facebook main page won't go to fullscreen and just remain small in the middle of landscape mode.
Hi, having checked yes I am having the same issue, looks like it may be a bug or the app needs to be updated for compatibility
It's great to see there's Desktop Mode now on cheaper/budget tablets. Can the windows snap to the sides tho like on Samsung's DEX?
for watching movies or simple use which screen is good lenovo m11 or lenovo tab p11 from ppi which one is comfortable for eyes ?
Hi, I’m assuming you’re talking about the Gen 2 Tab P11, if so, the differences are marginal, the P11 has a 0.5 inches bigger screen (11.5 inches) and PPI of 204 and 120Hz, whereas the Tab M11 is 11 inches at a PPI of 206 and 90Hz, so very small difference between the two tablets and P11 will be a tiny bit ‘smoother’ due to the higher refresh rate
@@typicaltechlad thank you
In Australia, it came with the charger brick, so i don't know why it doesn't everywhere else
where is the charger available in australia they confusing us 10watt or 15watt or 68watt which one for the tablet?
Yeah it’s a shame it doesn’t here in the UK, lucky for you I guess!
Is it really possible to draw with this tablet and this stylus? thanks in advance
It is possible to draw yes, for more simple things it’s fine, intricate drawing maybe not as the tip of the stylus isn’t that ‘sharp’
How is screen quality and ppi?
Hi, PPI is 206, so fairly average for a tablet this size, the screen quality was good, not the sharpest out there but decent enough
This or redmi pad se or realme pad?
My partner just got one of these and was told that Fire Alpaca works on it but he's having a lot of trouble getting it to work, any tips? or ideas??
I don't think Fire Alpaca has an android app.
Hi does it repel the hand when using the pen?
Hi, yes it does
I am looking for an affordable tablet as a student. My purpose would be note taking and browsing reading. Prioritiy would be the note taking capabilites. I am on a budget, do you think its a good one for 200 euro or something old like tab s6 lite with s pen for 280 Euro?
I am also a student and bought the lenovo m11 yesterday. It's good for taking notes
Could you go into more detail on how you take notes. Can you download and write on pdfs ?
@@Sufian95
@@Sufian95 does it lag when you write?
@@Sufian95is it laggy? what does it feel like?
@@Xantium0 pretty smooth even if it's a low cost tablet. If you can spent more money buy a better tablet but this lenovo m11 i think enough for students.
Brilliant video mate
Thanks mate, appreciate that 👍
@@typicaltechlad your welcome mate
I buyed it, i am absolutely in love with this tablet but i don't understand why my battery drains so fast. I don't play games, the brightness is always like in %10 or just nothing, i charge it to 100%, I only downloaded about 4 apps that do not consume much usually, but on this tablet they do. I'm confused, i really really don't regret buying it, actually i liked it so much, but the battery thing is making me a little sad 😞
Hey, might be best to contact Lenovo as this sounds like something wrong with the tablet
Why isn t anyone showing how to kick start the pen? Mine is not working
If it’s brand new out the packet, have you unscrewed the top and taken out the little bit of plastic blocking the battery connection?
Lenovo P12 or Honor x9 which is better? For a student
i hot the p12 and its perfect for me ;3
Between them 2 tablets the Lenovo P12 is better but more expensive
@@typicaltechlad In Lenovo store P12 is £280 but Argos and currys their price is £380.which is better to buy?
Is the pen and ipad both compatible with Procreate?
Proceate is for apple only
Lenovo Tab m11 or m10 plus ?
Are there any problems with putting your hand on the screen while writing?
Palm rejection worked fine, I have my palm resting on the screen when I’m using the stylus and no problems at all
Is palm rejection available
which is better samsung A9Plus/ XIAMI PAD SE/ LENOVO TAB 11?
From them I would go for the Samsung if you want overall good performance or the Tab M11 if you’re looking for something more productivity focused
M11 better , a9+ very bad
Does it have palm rejection quality with stylus
Yes it does
The tablet itself is great for the price, but I'm not happy with the pen. I can't understand your positive assessment regarding writing. Large font as in the video works well but if you write a little smaller, for example notes in a PDF file, the pen is absolutely not convincing.
For comparison, I have a Dell 2in1 and an S6 Lite 2022
For me, the main application is taking notes, which is why I unfortunately have to send the device back - as I said, apart from the pen, I am satisfied.
Hi, yes for more finer text I guess the pen isn’t very good, but maybe the Tab Pen Plus would work better? Also could zooming in on the document and writing the text not be a work around? Apologies, I should have highlighted that in my video
ok so i want a tab for notes. should i get the samsung s6 lite?
i have seen people say that samsung s8, s9, s7 fe are better... but i can't really afford those
but i need it to write well or else it's just waste of money
Thanks for literally touching every point that important to user. 5 star review.....
Thank you, my aim is to provide the viewer all the information possible 👍
Can i charge the device with 25W samsung charger
Hi, the following from Lenovo’s spec sheet might help you:
“For optimal performance, ensure your compatible charger delivers between a minimum of 10 Watts required by the product, and a maximum of 15 Watts to achieve the fastest charging speed.
The Lenovo 68W USB-C Wall Charger is recommended for this product. However, other compatible USB PD chargers can also be used.
For a detailed list of compatible chargers, please visit www.Lenovo.com/support.”
Does the tablet have palm rejection while writing with the pen?
Yes it does, in my demonstration of using the pen (03:22) I am resting my palm on the screen
Pen seems to have a lag , noticeable. Everyone run it at 0.25 speed to see the lag and the Check iPad
Yeah there is a lag 💯 but not surprising for a tablet and stylus at £199
Does it have palm rejection?
Yes
These are $140 usd on aliexpress with a Snapdragon 685
Between this one and Samsung a9+ wich one should i choose?
Yes, i'm in the same boat,,,,
Went for the Lenovo M11 128gb.
@@chascarpenter5006 So... Do you like it? The pen experience is good? Can you easily use office or files between laptop and tablet? Does it lag or heat up with use? Can you tell please?
Thank you
You're welcome 👍
Is the pen magnetic?
Hi, you’ll find your answer at 01:50 😊
has it palm rejection?
Yes
Does it have 5G varient
Not that I am aware of here in the UK, other regions may be different though
