- So, last season the head of media at Rovers sent me a message and told me that when the new stand at Tallaght opened that we should come down.
We did.
The newest and best stand in the LOI is at Tallaght, the lads checked it out.
Total disgrace your promotion of pyro there was an incident last week were a bohemians player was hit by a flare thrown onto the pitch by his own fans, thankfully the FAI have cracked down and banned bohs fans from their next away game i was in sligo last Saturday night watching my own team derry and what a disgrace that was, so called derry fans wearing balaclava's to hide their faces throwing pyro onto the pitch as well. I used to be a big fan of your videos but not anymore and if you keep promoting this pyro nonsense then your better staying away from the league of ireland as the ordinary decent law-abiding fans dont want this dangerous pyro nonsense.

He is allowed his comments,..I like pyro at games,..yes it's unfortunate that one idiot spoils it for everybody else but if it's security for life your looking for,..then stay in bed...it sounds like you want to put those who like pyro,up against a wall,...one idiot should never be allowed to spoil it for everybody else,..maybe we should stop applauding at football matches as it's likely to upset one person,...great video as always 😊
Well look at the handling derry city now find themselves in because of so called fans using pyro and throwing flares at away fans. Any repeat and the stadium will be closed and the law abiding fans will be the ones to suffer.
@crumkill ...exactly the point I mean,...one idiot has spoiled something that added to the atmosphere/spectacul,of a game,...they have crazy pyro events before the game starts in Brazil Argentina, Italy & Germany,...but these are organised by the supporters clubs,..Yes,occasionally it has been known that fans have thrown these on the pitch but those are individuals,never supporters club members,..one guy got 5 years in prison in Brazil and the club had no crowd for half of its home games,..there must be consequences for those who want to spoil entertainment for others snd hurt thd club,they claim to support,..not sure if they caught the person involved in that incident you talk about but if he was caught,they must make a severe example of them,..we cannot allow our lives disrupted by the mentally deranged or those who cannot control their emotions,..do you know if the culprit was caught?..🤔

View from the new stand looks great. Will hopefully get a chance to get into that stand for a cup game as my season ticket is for the West Stand.
On the match, first game of the season, Rovers weren't great but missing at least 7 first teamers and the two injuries to Farrugia & Clarke didn't help. We'll take the point and look forward to Shels on Friday ☘️

Great video , lads. The LoI is thriving with good attendances and a real good fan culture. The IFA must surely see that to save the stagnating game in the North they really have to seriously consider an all Island league.
Irish league needs investment. If the sub regional money becomes available then it could be a game changer.
The IL is not "stagnating."
I don't think the NIPL is stagnating but have to admit the LOI is something else. Im an exiled Glenman living near Sunderland now and look forward to the LOI games and watch them every Friday night.
