    ...first flight as an 8 year old...Montreal - Paris, Air France 747 - 128, August 1972....wow, just wow.

    Having flown to NYC on Concorde and 747 I know which one was more enjoyable!

    My first flight was Pan Am New Delhi - JFK New York. 1989. I flew Madras- Bombay , New Delhi - Bombay . 1982 . Boeing 747 SP. The most memorable flight.

    My first of many 747 flights was in 1974 (TWA), the latest 2017 (El Al), with many in between (Delta, Lufthansa). Always amazing, although the technology seems so obsolete now.

    a total beauty this plane is. nothing matches it in grace, safety and pose. in the air, it looks like a japanese crane bird. just compare this to that graceless, fat bird A280
