I love looking at toppers, buying them, but I never use them!!! Or very little. I prefer buying a polish that has all my favorite finishes combined (holo, shimmer, flakes).

This was a really fun video! I’m in the “I have a ton of toppers but never use them” camp but now I’m feeling inspired! I ordered Batsy from Rogue along with their rainbow metallic flakie topper and now I can’t wait to layer them over all the polish! 😂 I really liked all the soft colors you used as base colors. I usually think dark colors first when using toppers but I’m going to try lights and neutral colors now. In fact, I got a neon matte glitter topper at the dollar store and I bet it would look really cool over a beigey nude-for-me color. P. S. Love the new hairstyle! It’s so cute!

Caitlin - do you have Enchanted Polish Rainbow Juice with Pulp? It’s a flakie holo in a scatter (or linear, I can’t remember right now) holo topper. Loooove it over all sorts of things. Also - ILNP’s original series of multichrome flakie toppers are awesome sauce! Neon Rosebud, Phoenix, Gaia, etc. , plus others she’s added along the way, like The Road to Awe & Ferris Wheel. Plus, there is Rogue’s topper with her “Arizona” collection warm flakies, plus it has some holo in it too. Love that one. And add her Unicorn Blood topper - Aurora shimmer. Wowza. Rogue also has all these colored metallic toppers in individual colors. Plus they combine really well. Love the bright blue with the green or the lavender. And Fancy Gloss has some of those colors on matching thermals. I’m particularly fond of the emerald one in its thermal.

I love this video, I have seen two other people that I watch talk about this video and I somehow missed it. I too am a topper buyer and rarely wear them but still love to have them. 🤣 I need to make more of an effort and try it on with different finishes instead of just cremes
I love multichrome flakes over holo or metallic holos (like ILNP happy hour, private reserve, lucky one). Especially silver, gray, or black. I did ILNP Ferris Wheel over first class (retired metallic silver holo - avalanche looks similar) and it was so gorgeous.

I was lucky enough to get a bottle of Cirque spotted and have loved transforming the look of polishes with it. Polished for Days Frozen Heart is a great topper too. Love this! I recently added Holo taco gold flakes over Holo taco mint mojito (green linier holo) and don’t even know why. Never done anything like it before but was blown away 😊 You have some many combos I now want to try!

All of these are just so frickin beautiful I can't even! I'd forgotten about Girly Bits, then saw your purple Demon swatch, went to the site, and now I'm tempted to buy myself a $$ haul.
I love toppers, but I rarely take the time to do more than 2 accent nails one each hand. With basecoat, 2-3 coats of color and topcoat, my patience and time often run out sqeeze in a topper as well.
This is so wonderful!!! I also love toppers and sometimes have trouble pairing them. I love the ethereal look. I am saving this to rewatch again and pick out some combinations to try. Also adding Delirium and at least one ridge filling base coat to my collection.

I love toppers more than "normal" polishes actually 😊 ....am always on the hunt for toppers ... I live in UK so I can't access a lot of indie brands 😶... I mix toppers with each other a lot and skip the base polish & it works out perfectly fine and I can get some mind-blowing effects ☺️
