It's a great device, the grill marks on it though is not as this informercial shows. Even when the grill option is used and it's fully preheated to 500 degrees, those grill marks are not as dark as shown, they are half that. Another annoying thing is how many "beeps" this thing makes. Even opening the air fry lid (not the glass one) during cooking will make it beep 5 times even if you close the lid. It also beeps for every 'click' of the adjustment knob, turning it quickly with make a continuous beep, even plugging it in will make it beep once lol.
Other than that, yes, it's a GREAT device 4/5 stars. If you have any other questions i will give you an unbiased, honest answer

Why do you use cooking oil instead of can spray?
What are the function, cook temperatures and cook times for the foods you made?
with the mac and cheese, according to the book. you end using the air fry lid for a couple minutes....
Look at reviews on QVC, junk. I was originally going to get it, saw reviews and went against it, glad I did.

Can I cook burgers inside the smokeless grill, without having them sit in grease? Can it "drain" off the grease similar to a George Foreman grill and similar gadgets?

I just grilled some burgers with this the other day. It has some holes in the grill plate that allows the grease to drip down into the pot below it, so it does not sit fully in grease... since the holes in the grill plate are small and widely spaced, it doesn't drain as much as one might hope.
@@ashg4045 Yeah after using it a few times, I can see that the burgers wouldn't sit in the grease. I'm impressed with the PowerXL overall. Definitely useful in the kitchen.
@@ErichCervantez I love mine for grilling, but I prefer my basic Oster countertop oven for everything else. The PowerXL does cut down on my cooking time drastically. I'm glad you are liking yours.
I purchased an air fryer rack from amazon, which brings it off the bottom, then put the grill plate on top.

Is the hamburger being grilled or air fried? They never explain how to really cook things they only say what it does.
I dont know how to make steak
I grilled my steak and it came out good. Depending on size you flip it half way through. Just make sure you check the temperature so you get it to how you want it cooked.
