If I give a 10/10 for a channel in youtube, it have to be this. Very crisp and clear and in detail and perfection. This channel needs to grow and will reach millions. Your love to Evo's and they way you treat them is absolutely giving me goosebumbs. Thank you so much man for taking care of them and preserving the art.
Thank you so much Rohan for the kind words! Means so much!

I learned to love my SST trans. Just warm your car up well and always if possible drive it in Super Sport mode to get the longest life out of the trans. It’s actually kinda nice always manually shifting without having to use a clutch pedal constantly. Oh and change the fluid every 20k mi.
agreed. did this on my ralliart. S-Sport until like interstate. Always use Diaqueen in the US too. if the SST gets chatty(owners know what i mean), change the fluid
Big facts! Thanks for the info! The sst community has been great so far with all these little tips and tricks
@@ChrisGoorbarry GSR owner here but I know there is a different Japanese maintenance schedule compared to Europe/NA. I’ve heard SST owners say its best to follow the Japanese maintenance schedule since the Europe/NA ones were wrongly extended due to the fear of scaring buyers from the shorter maintenance intervals in Japan.
I loved to hate it. As long as your power is mild its decent but at some point on thrm over 50k theres always something that breaks and is hard to repair. I had mine built by kozmic once the shift fork problem happened along with the clutches going. It was a fun daily tho
the 4 wheel drive system service required light is due to your bumper being off. it is from lacking the signal of the ambient air temp sensor mounted in the bumper
Really? HMM I'll try and see if that's the issue in the next video!
@@ChrisGoorbarry I’m not saying that is your only issue, but it will always throw that light when the air temp sensor is disconnected. Scared the hell outta me after I did a bunch of work, but I was relieved that it was an easy fix.
The ASC/4WD System light Might go out after you do an Alignment to the car, but depending on the code it might be a bad AYC. If the evo is 2013 or newer I think there is a recall/free replacement at the dealership
Thanks for the info bro! It’s a 2010 Evo X but now with a 2012 motor 🤣 I’ll look into it!
@@ChrisGoorbarry Yap Also if you do not bleed the Diff/T-Case it will also give you the warning lol
I cannot give you enough praise for this channel. Seriously, the quality of everything from the filming and music to the voice over work is insane. On top of that, the work you do on your vehicles is topnotch and being a lover of OEM+ builds, this channel is so easy and enjoyable to watch. I'm excited to see this channel grow!
Yeahhh boiiii!!! Congratulations 🎉.. check the ayc fluid in boot. Maybe needs a top up
Checked that right away but it’s good :/
Congratulations man thats cool that you brought that baby back to live sweet !!!
Thank you!!
Congrats! 💯🔧🏁
Thanks bud!!!
He'll yeah dude!!
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼
This was awesome to watch. That feeling you did something on your own that would have costed thousands upon thousands of dollars had someone else done it is so rewarding.
That's AWESOME! Great work Chris, persistence paid off!
Congrats Dude it is always good to see projects come from a dream to reality. I am actually sharing this feeling with you since I last commented I've been working my butt off restoring that Mirage Cyborg ZR of mine and I've actually got it started and back on the road!!!! Still needs some body work doing to get it mint but none the less happy its once again alive :) Its good to know there are people like us bringing life back into these Iconic JDM cars
The asc light is just your awd control pump and it’s covered under a 10 year/ 100k miles warranty
He'll yeah!
🙌🏼🙌🏼
Very nice! and full filling after the hardworks for the project car...
Music like a marvel movie! Love it!
Very nice my guy. So precise, you remind me so much of myself when it comes to my Evo. Definitely a perfectionist.. except your garage is much cleaner and organized lol!!
Congrats brotha keep the good work 🔥🔥
Thanks bro!
The emotion and feels thru the video, top quality ,Chris 🙏🙏
Congratulations you deserve it
Congratulations 🎊 👏 🎉
As a massive Evo lover, definitely subscribing.
Awesome...congrats!!
Thank you Vincent!
Congrats! Love watching your journey
All your hard work pays off congestion
It’s nice to see it. Good luck with the best car ever! 💪🏼
BIG W ! CONGRATS !!!
Thank you!
Congrats brotha on getting her back on the road!!!Its crazy how much the SST trans is slept on smh. There’s a lot of great comments in here about how to make sure the SST reliable and happy 👏🏼.Always let the transmission warm up for a good 15 minutes or so on the road(especially after a cold start) before you start getting on the car.20K SST OEM Diaqueen trans fluid flushes is a must.Always drive the car in Super Sport to prolong them clutches as long as possible. And try to keep the torque limited to no more 350ish on a DynoJet.And never lift off the gas pedal between gear shifts.
Awesome work as always man.
Congrat!! Brotha🙌🏻
Thank you Jose!
Good job bro! 👏🏽
Ps.
Lights are on the dash because steering is not centered . 😅
Mr Seth! Thanks bro means a lot coming from the Evo X lord! And really?? Hmm I’ll try eye balling an alignment to see if it goes away! I don’t want to align it until I get the new wheels and suspension stuff
Nice content, heart warming. the light shown just need a proper wheel alignment, then it will poof, goes away. Just EvoX usual thing haha. Happned to me when i bring mine to track day and hit an apex too hard, wheel & sterling alignment saved the day :)
Wooohooo !! Love everything even the music lol. This is awesome 👍🏽👍🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Thank you Jim!
Chris , i hope this channel blows up one day and youll be able to have the whole evo collection !!
Lets gooooooo!!!!!!! CONGRATS my brother!! LOVING this process.
Gracias mi bro! Yours is next! 😬💪🏼
@@ChrisGoorbarry yes sir!! You already know 🫡
The ayc code is because you disconnected the ACD line from the tcase. You have to bleed the AYC pump now. Make sure you do a teach in on that new trans now!
So happy for u dude!
Congratulations bro 👏🏽🔥
Outstanding!!
This had me on the end of my seat🎉🎉🎉
Okay you earned a sub bro, you are amazing

Nice 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️🔥 proud of you!!!
Thank you sis!
Te felicito! Lograste traer esa maquina a la vida!
Gracias bro!
Amazing content brother.
I highly recommend upgrading the transmission with Kozmic motorsports, get that shift fork upgrade and and maybe better clutches. I've been using their 12 clutch plate upgrade and it's been running smoothly. 450awhp.
For how long ?
@@LP-bt4jk 3 years going to 4th strong! 💪
@@Alex9_x you live near Kozmic?
@@LP-bt4jk yes sir
Nice bro🔥🤝💪💯👍
Looking good
great job!
i think your asc popup duo to steering wheel angle sensor as i saw in the video your steering is not aligned straight!
Saludos desde Las Vegas Nevada boricua somos unos bestia
Saludos Jose!
Nice my friend
Yooo congrats on the evo mine is currently down sst how much did it cost you to fix?
question what shifter and shift knob are those? might try to get one for my MR
clubspec chicago
What he said lol I’m not sure I bought it like that
hey cris ived got a evo x mr 2011, i replaced the oem manifold and gasket, after install it gave no boost at all, and the car is not running as it should. I checked the manifold bolt and torque it properly but i notice the waste gate arm is stiff to open on the turbo. i checked if ther leaks for all the hoses and its all good. But i dont feel any boost and go fast bov 50/50 had no sound.
Молодец!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love i!! Please tell me the name of the shift knob, looks fuckin amazing
I know why you are getting the asc needs servicing it has happened to me it is because the steering angle sensor is off when you are driving in a straight and yours steering wheel is at 10 past if you dropped your subframe and steering rack you have not lined it back up properly evo scan or a good launch system will sort it out but the ayc and traction control run off of the steering angle sensor and ATM the moment the system has no idea what is going on hope this helps
Did you do sst teach in?😬
Where did u buy that air compressor and what brand? I want one too. Thanx. Hehe
haha Milwaukee! I'll be posting a short video on it soon that thing is so dope!
@@ChrisGoorbarry Awesome, can't wait to see that video. Keep them coming!!! 😁😁😁
Te felicito

I would love to own a sst but heard bad things about the tranny if I should
