Thank you for the beam comparison. These lights have been out for ages and I believe your are the first to do a comparison video. I have both lights and both are awesome in there own rights.
Thank you for another great review! What I like about your channel, is the number of flashlight comparisons you make are off the charts (and which I can't find anywhere else). I have the IF22A and ordered the Convoy L21B SFT 40, which is a less heavy version of the L21A, so was very curious to see how they performed against each other. I really like both flashlights for different reasons. What I like about the IF22A is its smaller form factor with more flood and a wider hotspot than the L21A. What I like about the L21A (or L21B) is that it has a brighter hot spot and throws farther, and the body stays cooler than the IF22A, and has a tail switch. Both have their strong points, so I have to have both in my collection. Thank you for posting this review!
Thank you my friend I appreciate your comment and support and kind words 🙏 Yes I agree they have there strengths and weaknesses but still can't go wrong with either. I just left amazon and seen some convoys on there, Thanks alot my friend I never knew they sold them until now appreciate you.
I really appreciate the comparisons. I have a IF22A and so get a pretty good idea what the L21A is doing. I actually have a L21A using a KW CULPM1.TG with a 8A driver. Going to have to get one with the SFT40 LED and compare. Completely different lights but I also have a ThruNite TN12 Pro with a SFT40 and its pretty darn amazing for a small tube light. The SFT40 can really produce some distance.
I just got into flashlights, way cheaper than my hifi audio hobby. Anyways I went crazy and bought 6 flashlights to start with lol...should have some fun when they all arrive. I have a Convoy tan L21A SFT40 and grey IF22A coming. Keep up the good work, I have learnt alot from your review vids. Thanks
I have the Astrolux EA01 with 5000K SST40 and I really like the light for mid range and some far range use. It also has the TIR optic lens like the 22A. The reason I have not purchased the 22A is that there is no neutral option for that light for now anyway. Looks like a good light however, just would like a neutral option available. I currently do not have an L21a for much of the same reasons as they are limited with emitter tints it seems at this time as well. I know the SST40 is available in those lights, I have the FT03 though with SST40 so that kinda defeats the purpose. If I were to purchase the L21A, would likely go with the Osram option for me I suppose. They look like great lights though, thanks for the comparison video.
My ft03 is an sft40 and I really like that light. It probably throws about the same as the l21a. Plus it has USB charging and I have the 26800 tube for it. As another commenter suggested you can get an l21a with osram the culpm1 is a great matchup for this light. Lots of reviews online with that combo. I think the ea02 will just barely out throw that light though.
That ft03 is a nice set up you have with the 26800, I did see the osram version I believe it was a couple bucks cheaper I'm just a fan of the sft40. I really like this l21a I'm going to put some more time on it and probably pick up the osram version in the near future.
I would say that while I have griped about the sofrin IF22A It isnt a bad light. Actually its the universal light. Does everything its supposed to but one beef.... It gets so HOT you cannot hold it. I rarely ever go into high position. The light heats up fast. It you switch to turbo it will fry your hand like bacon. They should have worked out the bugs, put some cooling fins, and maybe a radiator. Maybe a NASA scientist can solve this bug?
Thank you my friend I appreciate your comment 🙏 Both great lights, that's actually a hard one to pick, I guess depending on what you need more lumens or more throw.

Thank you. Sft40 is one of my fav leds, it seems to do well with any host I heard alot of good things about that thrunite.

@@smotheredchrome mine is actually the mt35 mini and I think that one cant be upgraded to anduril. The ft03 can I think
I do love how gentle the spill is on the if22a, better if you need a light for walking around yet seeing far ahead. L21b wins for diffusive by far.
Thank you my friend I appreciate your comment 🙏
