I heard some of the looneytunes were hanging around there not that long ago. Crazy skillz I guess working with Michael Jordan and Lebron James really taught them something.
Imagine fouling every possession, making fake foul calls, calling fake travels, lying about the score, getting it changed, lose and chalk it up to them playing more games than him 😂😂😂😂🧑🏼🦯
I mean cheating should be called out no? I looked this video up on youtube and lots are talking about it. All comments are saying its a travel except on t jass channel. you can check for yourself if you don't believe me. Also Rule 9 Sec 5 Art 5 After coming to a stop and establishing the pivot foot: a. The pivot foot may be lifted, but not returned to the playing court, before the ball is released on a pass or try for goal; b. The pivot foot shall not be lifted before the ball is released to start a dribble.
@@bobbyjoalfonso3949bro you said it right there! The pivot foot MAY BE PICKED UP but not RETURNED TO THE GROUND before releasing for a pass or shot. Watch it again, he very clearly releases before the pivot foot returns. It sucks when you bite on a move when this happens to you (we’ve all been there) but just because you feel embarrassed doesn’t mean your opponent traveled.
Yellow shirt guy was soo excited to play basketball the first couple of possessions and then you can quickly see his teammate ripping the excitement out of his soul.
@@firstlast9813 that one I did agree was a travel but the rest of the calls was always a travel call or the weakest calls which to me extra asf but I did see that travel
I hate playing against or with complainers like that dude crying to whole game. Real ballers take the L and prove it on the court we aint talkin we ballin. Cheaters get exposed and there was no cheating in this game just tall dude craying and playing dirty. Good game T.
That foul he called "on the wrist" (around the 15:00 mark) was bogus. I hate playing with dudes like that. Win like a man and lose like a man. You got served.
I don't say anything. Just play and cook em. My buddies and I have made people rage so hard cuz none of us talk and just play. Other people in the gym just laugh 😂 cuz they're talking the whole time instead of playing. Egos for days is all it is.

This dude was annoying as heck, wouldn't stop running his mouth and hacking non stop. Gotta say the people in Tristan's videos are always so wild though man. It's like every black person thinks their Kobe, thinks their the best fighter and they can beat anyone. If there's any logical, intelligent, Neil Degrasse Tyson type brothers out there that aren't delusional and self deluded then I'd be really interested to hear your theories/thoughts on this ethnic phenomenon and why you think this is the case? I'm not hating or anything, I'm just trying to understand where all this irrationality and delusion comes from. Is it the ego? Does their ego feel the need to overcompensate and make themselves way bigger/better in their mind then they really are because they are minorities and are still subject to prejudice's within culture? It just feels like their unrealistic irrational self delusion about themselves is more of a overcompensation for how they really feel about themselves and being insecure inside, because if they really were so good and if they really were so secure in themselves then why would they need to talk so much crap, why would they need to have such an irrational view of themselves and think that their the best and that they can beat anyone when they brick nonstop and get destroyed? Exactly. You can see the excitement leave him the moment the other guy chewed him out for what he thought was passive defense. He was playing good but Tjass's offense is good too. Can't get stops every single time.
PSA: a travel is when a player picks up and re-establishes a new pivot. Picking up a pivot foot in a step through is not a travel. The pivot foot may be lifted, but not returned to the floor, before the ball is released on a pass or try for goal. This move is legal.
Finally someone actually stating the RULE in the book. Wonder how many actually tried to read it before yapping about travel. The shit that dude talked about Luka's step through makes 0 sense, Luka played in FIBA rule for his whole life ffs.
. One or both feet may be lifted, but may not be returned to the playing court, before the ball is released on a pass or try for goal;. His left foot was the established pivot...then he lifted his right foot and came back down and pushed off with it...........you have to push off with your pivot foot in that situation. He reestablish a new pivot when he came down with his right foot to push off. That is a travel.
He travelled....his left was his pivot foot. He stepped forward with is right foot which is legal, but his left foot left the ground now establishing his right foot as the new pivot. If he stepped thru like he did and jumped with both feet at the same time, that is a legal step thru.
it's not a travel....he released the ball for a shot before he landed back on his pivot foot...you can lift your pivot foot as long as you don't land it or the on the other foot before the release.

Tristan is being filmed on RUclips no less, so of course he is gonna behave, he has to set the example to those who view him, including and esp. minors, but I would be the same.
nah that's a travel sorry to say but i'm og tho i don't know if y'all youngians already changed the rule but even in street ball that's a travel certified ... 4:40 that's not a travel , 15:40 that is a travel, on the other hand guy talks too much
That was embarrassing on so many levels. As far as whether or not it was a travel, as long as you release the ball before before the original pivot foot comes back down it's a step through and perfectly legal. When you do a layup your first step is technically a pivot and you're allowed the second step as long as you pass or shoot before that first foot comes down again
your Pivot foot needs to be stationary and you need to use your other foot to do a step-through, he used his pivot leg. He was traveling, while also doing illegal dribbling before the drive. In NBA they wouldn't call that travel, because only Jokic and Luka know how to do it properly, but in Euroleague he would be traveling all day every day
@@12grujo I'll take the word of the dozens of referees I've talked to the past decade who've all said it's not a travel here in the US. There was a time when I believed it was a travel as well but when the guys who get paid to do it all say the same thing I have to admit I had it wrong for a few decades. That's not called a travel by HS or AAU refs in the US...I can't speak about how it's called overseas
@@chrisstoecker7189 there is a difference between calling a travel and not calling it. If your refs called every travel or double dribble there would be 0 fast breaks, half less points in the game, and a lot more turnovers. They don't call them because they want to make a spectacle of the game with a lot of dunks. Travel will always be a travel, it just comes down to calling it or not
That's not true either. I remember seeing beach games like this in the early 2000's and people TALK allll the time. Unless you're talking about earlier, but even then I doubt people didn't talk
If you're there to have fun .. You don't worry about little things and you don't talk shxt. If you want things to get chippy w someone you don't know, who might pushback on your disrespect with other forms of physicality . Keep talking.

For those that are wondering 15:42 he did not travel, and that tall guy in the black shirt is an idiot. That's a step up and under. Plenty of pros do it. Completely legal in NCAA, NBA, FIBA, & WNBA. He took 2 steps with a left and then right foot, his left foot was established as his pivot foot. You are then allowed to lift your pivot foot off the ground if you pass or shoot the ball before the pivot foot touches the ground again. That's y u actually get 2.5 steps when u do a layup. If u couldn't lift ur pivot foot, u wouldn't be able to do a normal layup jumping off 1 foot BCS ur first step is ur established pivot foot. Here is the official rule from the NBA handbook: If a player, with the ball in his possession, raises his pivot foot off the floor, he must pass or shoot before his pivot foot returns to the floor. If he drops the ball while in the air, he may not be the first to touch the ball. It even gets deeper than that when u start to talk about the zero step. Edit: before anyone says anything dumb, RUclips "step up n under basketball" Plenty of videos on it and why it's legal.
Real talk right here. Wonder how many actually tried to read the rule before yapping about travel. The shit that dude talked about Luka's step through makes 0 sense, Luka played in FIBA rule for his whole life ffs.
You can't lift your pivot after you stop dribbling... That was a travel all day. Maybe I just don't know the rules after all my years growing up playing and watching but that's a travel when you lift your pivot foot. Left foot was the pivot. Can't lift it and take a step.
@@seanhettenbach2101 Lifting the pivot foot alone does not constitute a travel; a player may pass, shoot, or request a timeout in that position. It is a travel once the foot is returned to the floor, or if a dribble is started. You need to learn the game yourself before commenting again.
Good competitive basketball, some great moves and shots on display. Second game was close and fun to watch, unfortunately one guy ruined it for everyone in game three, which is too bad because it started out great

I seriously cannot believe there are real hoopers that act like that, ive personally never had to deal with anybody like that(luckily) but don't look forward to the day it happens
That guy was absolutely emotional. That guy who threw it about every single play, as well as call, is a great example of being over mothered under fathered.
As someone who played streetball everywhere in and around LA, dude is the typical sore loser. The excuses he made were trash. As a ref, albeit for rec league games, the travel woulda been if T Jass pivot foot landed and the ball was still in his hands. You can lift your pivot foot to go for a shot or pass. Dude obviously doesn't know the rule book that well.
@@jimmace6148 Section XIII-Traveling d.If a player, with the ball in his possession, raises his pivot foot off the floor, he must pass or shoot before his pivot foot returns to the floor. If he drops the ball while in the air, he may not be the first to touch the ball.
As much as a mad dog he was, he was right about the travel. For the step through to be legal you have to jump with both feet simultaneously. Only then it's allowed to pick up the pivot foot. Can't pick it up stepping. In 21:39 tristan did it correctly
Well, "and 1" means you got fouled. It's "and 1" if it goes in, a foul if it doesn't. Of course it should actually be a foul before you start claiming foul.
This man is the reason that the use of that "word" will never go away. Even among blacks. Because we have no other real word for this man and his behavior. I am 65 and grew up in the inner city. It only takes one to ruin a ball game. And today there are even fewer good guys than there were in the 70's, 80's, etc. Every time they miss or lose the ball it is a foul. Every time YOU score it is a walk.
Hey T, y'all played a great game, it's a shame when someone is talking all that noise and calling BS foul calls and says he loves the game, that's not loving it at all it's making a mockery of the game. Tristan y'all keep playing the way y'all know how, we love your videos down here in Texas. Look forward to seeing y'all live one day, take care little brother. 👍
An example of letting your passion for the game outweigh your maturity this man needs to simply grow up. @@lakritz1987 Yes but in layups players take 2 steps, then lift their foot. Just like you can take 1 step while pivoting, then lift your feet when you jump.

I’m a 6’7 street baller and I swear I deal with these types of ppl all the time… I get fouled every time I take the ball to the hoop and it’s aggravating but I don’t even call most of them. Ppl think they know it all
Lol I play with ppl like this all the time in pickups. He carried a few times dribbling, pushes off and then plays “real defense” which consists of fouling. But nothing is worse than the old school head who goes down and calls when they know they losing. Not every move is a travel or carry. Also that’s a step through.
This video is a good demonstration of how the guys who “just wanted the interaction to stop” kept escalating the discussion. Inflated instead of de-escalating.
Seeing him show out made me wanna end the video, I’ve seen many professionals do the same move Tristan did with no penalty, he was just mad somebody better on what he claims is “his” court. Keep up the great work don’t let them haters ruin y’all grind. He acts like a child on the court.

Even when they lose they'll never concede that they lost or that the other person just beat them and was better, like this delusional brother crying about how T.Jass cheated and didn't beat him straight up. It's like he's so insecure with himself and fragile that his ego can't even handle being beat by someone better then them, their self deluded ego can't handle it. You never see some self delusional hispanic, white or asian dude running his mouth in these videos acting like he's MJ when in reality he's just garbage and he just got beat. I really think it's just a combination of all of these things, part cultural, part genetic, part need to overcompensate because of the things that have happened to them as a people throughout history and are still happening to them today, I think as minorities and people that have been treated differently by society for so long it's created some kind of deep seeded insecurity within them as a people, I think being enslaved as a people can have massively damaging long term effects to a people's psyche and so I think to cope with this perhaps they created and adopted this irrational, self deluded belief in themselves and their abilities as a way to overcompensate and cope with how they really feel inside. I mean their just trying way so hard, everyone knows that when you really are great at something and secure in yourself you don't need to run your mouth non stop and tell everyone how great you are, the only people that seem to do this are people that are garbage at basketball and have insecurities deep down. This dude was annoying as heck, wouldn't stop running his mouth and hacking non stop. Gotta say most of the black folks in Tristan's videos are always so wild man. It's like every black person thinks their Kobe, thinks their the best fighter and they can beat anyone. Why is it that every time T Jass goes to the park there's always a bunch of black people stunting for the camera going nuts and wilding talking about how great they are and how their gonna destroy T.Jass and then they all proceed to be garbage when they play 1 on 1. I just don't get it, like how can they possibly think in their minds that their good? Like this old guy, he's obviously completely self deluded and just by his shot you can tell he's garbage and lying, but in his minds it's like he actually believes it, it's like he actually believes he's good and that he could beat anyone. It's like those people that go on American idol that think their amazing singers but then everyone's like naw you're horrible, but then their still like naw I'm the goat y'all just don't realize, the whole world is wrong! 🤣. It's wild man. It can be some 90 year old grandpa and he'll be talkin about how he's the goat, he'll woop everyone and he'll be dead serious too. I have no idea where such an unrealistic self delusion comes from, how do they manage to have such an unrealistic view of themselves and such an irrational illogical self confidence in themselves that is so far from reality? How can they get slaughtered and still be running their mouths all the time talking about how good they are? Most will do the same thing when they get their ass beat in a fight, they'll still be standing their talking, running their mouth talking about how "I'm Muhammad's Ali Nig*a I'm the greatest, I just slipped & you just got lucky, let's go again bit*h." I've seen it a dozen times, I'm not hating or being racist or anything, these things are just facts and reality and I'm just pointing it out and trying to understand where this irrational self delusion/self confidence comes from within African Americans? Perhaps there are some logical, intelligent non self delusioned brothers out there who can shed some light on this strange phenomenon and explain it cause I'm just trying to make sense of it and understand cause it's so bizarre. I think it has to be a cultural thing that is learned growing up in the hood. That or it has to be some kind of genetic thing that is going on within the brain, maybe being enslaved for generations fractured something in their psyche as a people and so as a result they developed an irrational, delusional self believe in themselves as a way to cope with the horrible things that happened to them and so that they can feel better about themselves, and then this adaptation that they adopted as a people was then passed on throughout the generations? Is that it? Or is it from watching people like Muhammad Ali, MJ, LeBron, rappers as seeing the cocky attitude they have and their like I wanna be like that too I wanna emulate that, even though I'm no where close to the athlete they are? Like even these tall dude in the video their playing against is running his mouth nonstop and clearly thinks he's MJ and that he can beat anyone but in reality he's garbage, he's a good athlete with good size and decent athleticism but he's absolute trash and has no skills, yet he has this completely irrational illogical belief in his abilities that are so far from reality and this is a very common thing among black people..so I've just always wondered why, where does this crazy phenomenon come from, how can so many of them be so self deluded and so detached from reality? How can their perception of themselves be so far off? I've literally played with dudes that air ball every single time and yet they'll keep shooting because in their mind they genuinely thing their good and that their MJ. Nearly every brother TJ Plays 1 on 1 is like this. Its mind boggling. Are they just all on drugs and been chugging 40's or what? Is it just a cultural thing and it's just something that everyone does in the hood growing up so it's something they just naturally adopt too because it's a learned cultural trait? Even when they lose they'll never concede that they lost or that the other person just beat them and was better, like this delusional brother crying about how T.Jass cheated and didn't beat him straight up. It's like he's so insecure with himself and fragile that his ego can't even handle being beat by someone better then them, their self deluded ego can't handle it. I don't know how T.Jass deals with all these crazy wild people man. Every video he makes there's a bunch of dudes like this. You never see some self delusional hispanic, white or asian dude running his mouth in these videos acting like he's MJ when in reality he's just garbage and he just got beat. Where does this self delusion about themselves come from? It's baffling. I think maybe they aren't even aware that they are over compensating and that they have these deep seeded insecurities within themselves that they are overcompensating for. I've never been a huge believer in psychology but I'd be really interested in what Sigmund Freud would've had to say about this cultural, ethnic phenomenon. I wonder if it's a race thing, is it the fact that their ego just can't handle being beat by a white kid or something?

If he stepped thru like he did and jumped with both feet at the same time, that is a legal step thru.
it's not a travel....he released the ball for a shot before he landed back on his pivot foot...you can lift your pivot foot as long as you don't land it or the on the other foot before the release.

the stereo sound is actually amazing!
A step through is just a delayed layup following a pumpfake. You're allowed one step following your gather.
We all know it was legal only one who don’t is the fouling and foul calling sore loser.
your Pivot foot needs to be stationary and you need to use your other foot to do a step-through, he used his pivot leg.
@@chrisstoecker7189 there is a difference between calling a travel and not calling it. Here is the official rule from the NBA handbook:
If a player, with the ball in his possession, raises his pivot foot off the floor, he must pass or shoot before his pivot foot returns to the floor.
@@seanhettenbach2101 what are you even talking about? that's not travel

As much as a mad dog he was, he was right about the travel. For the step through to be legal you have to jump with both feet simultaneously. Only then it's allowed to pick up the pivot foot. Can't pick it up stepping. In 21:39 tristan did it correctly
