I never noticed there was a specific way to hold the bobbin case to check the tension with the weight! Plus I appreciate the fact that you showed how slowly the weight should drop. Thank you!
This information was priceless. Machine basically stopped sewing yesterday. Could not find any issue with the bobbin until I looked again today. Little piece of stabilizer helped push out a little tiny bit of lint. Back to embroidering. Thank you!
Joan thank you for watching, if I see that only one needle is not showing 1/3 on the back I will loosen the top. If they are all not showing 1/3 on the back I will tighten the bobbin. It will also depend on the thread you use, if you use a metallic thread in one needle I always loosen the top verses changing the bobbin. Let me know if that helps. 😊
Hi Tina. I have an embroidery file on the brother PR 1055 x and on the tablet screen it shows that it's center however on the frame it's not. How do I fix this?
Good evening Ms. Tina. My thread from the top is tangling and creating a bird's nest. I've clean the bobbin area and checked the bobbin itself. Still having issues. Help.
Hi Norma thank you for watching. Check your thread path make sure you have cleaned all the lint out from the thread path. Also check where your thread is coming off the spool sometimes it will wrap around the spool holder or get caught on the spool of thread. Watch my video on how to thread your machine and see if that may help.
Hello Tina. I rethreaded and clean the bobbin area . Adjusted the bobbin tension and is working fine. Is there a way I can reach out to you their email? I have another question.
Hi Tina, My needle hit my frame yesterday because I forgot to trace. Everything was stitching fine prior to this, but now I am not seeing any bobbin thread on the bottom. I thought this meant my bobbin tension was too tight, But when I do the bobbin test, the bobbin falls very fast which makes it seem too loose. I am not sure where to go from here.
Hi Lindy, thank you for watching. Here are some things you can try. 1. Change the tail length from standard to long tail you can do this in the settings (pg. 124 of the manual) 2. Make sure your machine is threaded correctly. 3. Check and make sure your bobbin area is clean. Hope this helps.

which screw needs to be tightened on loosened in the bobbin case?
Hi Jeannete, thank you for watching 😊❤️. It’s going to be the screw that looks like it has a circle around it. On mine it’s the bigger of the two.

Hi Norma, have you tried moving the image on the screen?
Yes and this takes me to the center on frame but not on tablet.
