Also Pooja if you can use Hanuman mask for your dance that would be a great one ,it will help to keep the attention of the audience since they are curious to know who is behind the mask ,also don't forget the Hanuman tail. Mask and tail will be a stunning performance.
Recently my students wore peacock mask when doing the peacock dance also instead of bharathanatyam costume I dress them in Sri Lankan dance dhoti.The audience was thrilled.
Pooja when doing animal roles in dance or drama always wear the appropriate tail as an example Hanuman tail is different from narasimha or lion tail and then Ganesha tail is different.In dance performance when depicting animal roles I encourage my students to wear mask preferably covering whole head ,as an example when doing Lord narasimha dance my girls wear lion mask and tail and Ganesha dance elephant mask and tail also Hanuman mask and tail this has increased the quality and the excitement on the dance.
Pooja I saw your Hanuman dance video that's absolutely stunning keep up with your good work.Also a piece of advice as a drama teacher when dancing on Hanuman use make up to your mouth or fix a posthetic Hanuman mouth so you don't have to make Hanuman face by inflating your mouth best one is Hanuman face posthetic you have seen in movies by actors using in Hanuman,also try to use a Hanuman tail from your back just like any Hanuman actor would do ,this will easily help to identify you dancing as Hanuman all male Hanuman dancers use a tail but only very few female dancers use it when depicting hanuman ,this is not good trend ladies also should show their masculine side,i always make sure by girls show their masculine tandava in appropriate roles.
Also Pooja try to wear the Sri Lankan dance dhoti ,draping videos are on RUclips you can easily find it.Use a normal plain saree without any design.Next time try to wear the dhoti in your next dance
